Yastrzemski went 2-for-4 with two RBI, two runs scored and a walk during Sunday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.

Yastrzemski knocked a two-RBI single into center field during the fifth inning before coming around to score. The 34-year-old outfielder logged his third multi-hit effort in his last five games, during which he has posted a .368 batting average with four RBI, four runs scored, a home run and a double across 21 plate appearances. Yastrzemski is now slashing .283/.387/.491 with 17 RBI, 16 runs scored, 12 extra-base hits and a 17:24 BB:K over 124 plate appearances.

Matos started at left field and went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored during Sunday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.

Matos led off the fifth inning with a double to center field before coming around to score the first of three runs in the frame. The 23-year-old outfielder recorded his third multi-hit game of the season Sunday, marking his first such performance since April 2. Matos has logged a .250 batting average with two RBI, a home run, a double and a 2:2 BB:K across 18 plate appearances in his last five games. He began the season hitting .167 with two extra-base hits and a 1:2 BB:K in 31 plate appearances over his first 10 games.

Bailey went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a double during Sunday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.

Bailey singled in the fifth before coming around to score. He later cracked a double into left field during the seventh inning and crossed home again on a bases-loaded walk. The 25-year-old catcher delivered his first multi-hit game since April 9, marking his third such performance of the 2025 campaign. Bailey is now slashing .176/.224/.264 with nine RBI, nine runs scored, six doubles, a triple and a 6:33 BB:K across 98 plate appearances.

Burleson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 5-4 win over the Mets in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader.

Burleson opened the scoring with his blast off Tylor Megill in the second inning. Burleson sat for four straight games from April 25-28, but he's been a regular in the lineup versus right-handed pitchers since that stretch. He still needs to make some improvements with the bat -- he was limited to one hit in both games of Sunday's doubleheader and has gone seven contests without a multi-hit effort. He's at a .255/.305/.316 slash line, one homer, eight RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases over 105 plate appearances. There's more power in Burleson's bat, as he hit 21 homers over 152 games in 2024.

Pallante allowed four runs on nine hits and four walks while striking out one over 3.1 innings in the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets. He did not factor in the decision.

This was Pallante's shortest outing of the season and the third time he's failed to complete five innings over seven starts. Pallante is now at a 4.75 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 21:16 K:BB over 36 innings. Michael McGreevy finished off the nightcap with 5.2 innings of one-hit ball out of the bullpen, and if the Cardinals opt to adjust the composition of their rotation, he'd be a candidate to push Pallante out of the mix. If there are no changes to the starters, Pallante is tentatively projected for a road start at Washington in his next outing.

Acuna went 3-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in a 6-5 loss to the Cardinals in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader.

Acuna continues to lead the Mets in steals -- his theft Sunday was his eighth of the season. This was also his third multi-hit effort in the last six games, though he followed it up with an 0-for-4 effort in the nightcap. Acuna is at a .298/.355/.369 slash line with no home runs, four RBI, 14 runs scored and six doubles across 93 plate appearances this season. He continues to see a majority of the playing time at second base, though he started at third in the day game.

Arenado went 4-for-8 with one RBI, one walk and one run scored over both games of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.

Entering Sunday, Arenado had gone 11 games without a multi-hit effort before posting a pair of two-hit contests in the twin bill. The third baseman was 6-for-43 (.140) over that mediocre stretch. Arenado started the year positively before his recent fade, but he's at a respectable .254/.341/.402 slash line with three home runs, 14 RBI, 14 runs scored, nine doubles and one stolen base over 32 games this season.

Contreras went 4-for-8 with a home run and four RBI as the Cardinals swept Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets.

Contreras had a big performance in the day game, during which he collected three of his hits, including a solo home run and a two-run single. He has posted multiple hits in three of his last six games, going 8-for-20 (.400) with two homers and eight RBI in that span. For the season, he's at a .244/.322/.374 slash line with four homers, 17 RBI, 14 runs scored and two stolen bases over 34 contests as the Cardinals' primary first baseman.

Helsley allowed a hit and struck out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save in a 6-5 win over the Mets in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader.

The Mets pulled within a run in the eighth inning, but Helsley made sure their comeback fell short in the ninth. He had allowed three runs over his last two innings, including a blown save in his outing versus the Brewers on April 26. Helsley hasn't been at his best to begin 2025, pitching to a 3.75 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 11:8 K:BB while converting five of seven save chances this season. He was 49-for-53 in save chances in 2024, but for now, he is not being challenged for the closer role.

Fedde (2-3) earned the win in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets. He allowed three runs on six hits and five walks while striking out four over five innings.

Fedde's start was pushed back a day after Saturday's rainout. He was able to earn a win for the first time since his season debut, but he was not at his best, as the five walks were a season high. The 32-year-old right-hander has had some trouble with control this season, as evidenced by his 21:21 K:BB over 37.2 innings across seven starts. He's added a mediocre 4.78 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. Fedde's next start is projected to be on the road versus one of his former teams, the Nationals.
