Moreno went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 5-0 win over the Pirates.

Over his last nine games, Moreno is 13-for-32 (.406) with three home runs, three doubles, six RBI and eight runs scored. The catcher was one of three Diamondbacks to post a multi-hit effort in Monday's win. Moreno's surge at the plate has him up to a .277/.338/.411 slash line over 44 contests this season.

Naylor went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-0 win over the Pirates.

Naylor hit safely for the fifth game in a row, and this was his third straight contest with an extra-base hit. The first baseman went deep in the fifth inning for the final scoring play of the game. Naylor is slashing .287/.348/.450 with six homers, 33 RBI, 27 runs scored, eight stolen bases, 13 doubles and a triple over 53 contests this season, featuring in a near-everyday role.

Birdsong (2-1) took the loss and surrendered three runs and five hits in 4.1 innings of work during Monday's 3-1 loss to the Tigers. He walked two and struck out six.

Birdsong made 11 appearances in relief to start the season, but the Giants have attempted to stretch him out to a starter's workload mid-season. His second start wasn't quite as sharp as his first when he went five scoreless, but he kept the Giants in the game and set a new benchmark in strikeouts this season with six. Over the last 14.1 innings, the 23-year-old has struck out 16 batters, a 10.2 K/9 rate.

Suarez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-0 win over the Pirates.

Suarez looks to be heating up again. He's hit safely in nine of his last 11 games, going 14-for-41 (.341) with three homers and 13 RBI in that stretch. His long ball Monday, which stretched Arizona's lead to 3-0 in the third inning, was his 15th homer of the year. He's added a .232/.315/.515 slash line, 41 RBI, 34 runs scored, 10 doubles and a stolen base over 54 contests, numbers that are largely in line with his usual rate of production.

Heaney (3-4) allowed five runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out two over five innings to take the loss Monday versus the Diamondbacks.

After allowing a total of four runs over 16 innings across his last three starts, Heaney took a significant step back in this outing. He gave up a pair of home runs, which accounts for the last three runs on his line in one of his worst starts of the season. The southpaw has also walked at least three batters in five of his last six appearances. He's at a 3.41 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 44:24 K:BB over 60.2 innings across 11 starts this season. Heaney's next outing is projected to be at San Diego.

Flores was 2-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Tigers.

Flores picked up multiple hits in a game for the first time since a stretch of seven hits in three contests came to an end nine games ago. He drove in the team's only run in the sixth inning Monday. While he hasn't strung multiple hits together in a game, the 33-year-old has at least one hit in six of his last seven ballgames.

Sheehan (elbow) was sent to the Arizona Complex League to begin a rehab assignment Monday, per MLB's transactions log.

It was recently reported that Sheehan would likely be ready for a rehab assignment at some point in June, but he appears to be ahead of schedule. The 25-year-old was initially placed on the 15-day injured list March 17 before being transferred to the 60-day IL later that month while continuing to work back from Tommy John surgery with an internal brace procedure. Expect Sheehan to make several minor-league appearances as he begins to build back up from a significant injury.

Stephenson went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 2-1 win over the Royals.

It was the first three-hit game of the season by Stephenson, who also racked up a season-high three RBI. Monday also marked the 28-year-old backstop's first long ball since May 4, and he's now slashing .209/.312/.373 with two big flies, five doubles, nine RBI and eight runs scored through 77 plate appearances this season. Stephenson is still searching for a rhythm at the plate after missing the onset of the year due to an oblique strain, but he continues to operate as Cincinnati's primary catcher.

Thomas (elbow) began a rehab assignment Monday in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, giving up two earned runs on three hits and one walk over one inning.

The southpaw has been on the shelf since April 8 with left elbow arthritis and could need close to the full 30-day rehab window to shake off the rust before the Brewers bring him back from the 60-day injured list. Once he's activated, the Rule 5 selection will likely fill a low-leverage role in the Milwaukee bullpen.

Rodriguez (shoulder) is expected to make another rehab appearance before being activated from the 15-day injured list, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Rodriguez emerged from Saturday's 55-pitch simulated game feeling strong, but the club wants to see him stretch out a bit further before bringing him back from the injured list. The team has yet to disclose whether the southpaw will be sent out on a minor-league rehab stint or if he'll toss another sim game later in the week before presumably being activated during the upcoming road trip, which begins June 3 in Atlanta.
