The Marlins announced Monday that Nardi (back) is continuing to receive treatment and taking part in regular rehab, but he's without a timeline to make his 2025 debut, MLB.com reports.

While Nardi seems to have resumed taking part in baseball activities since receiving an injection April 30 to relieve pain in his lower back, the Marlins haven't provided a concrete update regarding where he stands in his throwing program. Since he's been on the injured list all season, Nardi will likely require an extended minor-league rehab assignment before the Marlins bring him back from the 60-day injured list.

The Marlins recalled Bachar from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday.

Bachar was sent down nearly three weeks ago after allowing 11 runs in 10.2 relief innings in May. He'll get another opportunity after permitting one run with a 6:1 K:BB over three innings with Jacksonville.

The Rockies reinstated Moniak (personal) from the bereavement list Tuesday.

The 27-year-old is back with Colorado after taking a few days to tend to a personal matter. Moniak has a .194/.242/.484 slash line with three homers in his past 12 games, and he's been splitting playing time in right field with Tyler Freeman.

Nootbaar is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Nootbaar started the previous 16 contests but will hit the bench Tuesday while in the midst of a 1-for-19 slump. Brendan Donovan will move out to left field while Nolan Gorman receives a start at the keystone.

Stott will start at second base and bat fifth in Tuesday's game versus the Cubs.

Stott has been the Phillies' regular leadoff man against right-handers since mid-April, but he's moving down in the order as the Cubs send righty Colin Rea to the bump. The 27-year-old Stott is slashing only .195/.244/.260 since the start of May.

The Mets placed Alvarez on the paternity list Tuesday.

The 23-year-old will be away from the team for a few days in order to spend some time with his growing family. Alvarez should be back with the Mets by Friday's series opener versus the Rays. In the meantime, Luis Torrens should serve as New York's primary backstop, while Hayden Senger was promoted Tuesday to fill the backup job.

The Mets signed Jankowski to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Jankowski elected free agency after being removed from the Rays' 40-man roster last week. The veteran outfielder has slashed .244/.286/.289 in 21 games between the White Sox and Rays in 2025 and will give the Mets some experienced outfield depth at Triple-A Syracuse.

The Mets recalled Senger from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.

He's taking the roster spot of Francisco Alvarez, who was placed on the paternity list. Senger will operate as the backup catcher behind Luis Torrens while Alvarez is away.

The Giants recalled Koss from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The 27-year-old was demoted last week but will rejoin San Francisco with Matt Chapman (hand) landing on the injured list. Koss has a .219/.275/.266 slash line over 72 plate appearances in the majors this season and will likely fill a reserve role while up with the big club.

The Giants placed Chapman on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to right hand inflammation, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Chapman had X-rays come back negative after suffering the hand injury Sunday against Atlanta, but the inflammation will still sideline him for at least the next week and a half. The veteran third baseman will be eligible to be reinstated June 19. Casey Schmitt is likely to step in at third base for San Francisco in the meantime.
