Bryce Harper 1B | PHI
Phillies' Bryce Harper: Returns from injured list
The Phillies activated Harper (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He will start at first base and bat third in the Phillies' series opener versus the Padres.
Harper will return to the Philadelphia lineup after missing the last three-plus weeks with right wrist inflammation. The 32-year-old did not go out on a rehab assignment, but the Phillies were convinced of Harper's readiness by how he looked against live pitching over the weekend.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Good to go Monday
Arenado (finger) will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Pirates.
After jamming his right index finger early in Sunday's 7-0 win over the Guardians, Arenado initially stayed in the game before he was lifted for a pinch hitter in the eighth inning. The Cardinals described Arenado's early exit as precautionary, and his inclusion in the lineup a day later seemingly supports that notion. While the veteran third baseman is on pace for a second straight season with a sub-.400 slugging percentage, he's at least gotten his batting average back on track in June, hitting .283 through his first 26 games of the month.

Sean Reynolds RP | SD
Padres' Sean Reynolds: Heading back to minors
The Padres optioned Reynolds to Triple-A El Paso on Monday.
Reynolds' latest stint in the majors lasted only a few days, and he struck out the side in his lone relief appearance in Friday's 8-1 loss to the Reds. He's being sent out to make room on the active roster for Matt Waldron, who was called up from El Paso to start Monday's game versus the Phillies.

Matt Waldron SP | SD
Padres' Matt Waldron: Recalled to start Monday's game
The Padres recalled Waldron from Triple-A El Paso on Monday.
Waldron will start Monday's game in Philadelphia and could be needed for multiple turns in the rotation as the Padres navigate through injuries to their other starting pitchers. The knuckleballer has missed time himself in 2025 with an oblique strain, and in five starts with El Paso, he turned in a 5.24 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 22:7 K:BB in 22.1 innings.

Charlie Condon RF | COL
Rockies' Charlie Condon: Climbs to Double-A
The Rockies will promote Condon from High-A Spokane to Double-A Hartford on Tuesday, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft, Condon got off to a delayed start to the 2025 season after fracturing his wrist in spring training, but he's quickly found his hitting stroke upon reporting to Spokane on May 20. Over his 167 plate appearances in the Northwest League, Condon slashed .312/.431/.420 with three home runs while striking out at a manageable 21 percent clip. The 22-year-old -- who was named to the 2025 All-Star Futures Game roster Monday -- saw acton at three different positions with Spokane, making 23 starts at first base, eight in left field and two at third base. He'll likely continue to get exposure to both the corner infield and corner outfield as he moves on to Hartford.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Eyeing mid-July return
Chapman (hand) is hoping to be activated from the 10-day injured list for the July 11-to-13 series against the Dodgers, MLB.com reports.
Chapman has progressed to hitting off a tee and throwing as he recovers from a right hand sprain. He's already missed three weeks of action, and while his rehab is coming along, Chapman has a few more items on his checklist before he can be activated. With Casey Schmitt (wrist) also banged up, the Giants have been using Christian Koss at third base of late.

Carson Seymour RP | SF
Giants' Carson Seymour: Scoreless outing in MLB debut
Seymour threw a scoreless eighth inning in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the White Sox, allowing two hits.
Seymour was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Friday and made his MLB debut Sunday. The 26-year-old right-hander allowed two singles to the first three batters he faced and retired the other. He then induced the final two outs to end the inning, throwing 12 of his 17 pitches for strikes. Seymour worked exclusively as a starter with Sacramento, posting a 3.89 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and an 83:37 K:BB over 74 innings in 15 starts.

Ryan Walker RP | SF
Giants' Ryan Walker: Blows save Sunday
Walker picked up a blown save in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the White Sox, allowing two earned runs on two hits and a walk over one-third of an inning.
Walker entered the game with two outs and two runners on in the seventh inning. He walked the first batter he faced before allowing a double, then advanced the runners on a balk before surrendering a single. Over his last 10 appearances, Walker has allowed six earned runs, posting a 5.06 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and a 10:2 K:BB across 10.2 innings during that span.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Nationals' CJ Abrams: Drives in three in win
Abrams went 2-for-6 with a double, a triple and three RBI in Sunday's extra-innings win over the Angels.
The shortstop produced the game's final offense with a two-run triple in the 11th inning. Abrams has been on a heater to close out June, racking up nine multi-hit performances in the last 16 games while slashing .357/.430/.571 with four doubles, a triple, three homers, six steals, nine RBI and 15 runs.

Christian Koss 2B | SF
Giants' Christian Koss: Multi-hit effort in loss
Koss went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored, a stolen base and a walk in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the White Sox.
The 27-year-old made his sixth straight start Sunday, including his fourth straight at third base due to Casey Schmitt (wrist) being sidelined. Koss drew a walk in the second inning and subsequently stole second before coming around to score the Giants' first run. He also lined a double to left field in the fourth and added a single in the eighth. The infielder has recorded two hits in each of his last four games, slashing .533/.563/.667 with three runs scored, two doubles and a stolen base across 16 plate appearances during that span.
