DL Hall RP | MIL
Brewers' DL Hall: Cleared for plyometric work
The Brewers announced Wednesday that Hall (oblique) was cleared to begin plyometric work, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Though Hall isn't shut down from activities, he's yet to start up a throwing progression since landing on the injured list Aug. 16 with what he classified as a "Grade 1ish, Grade 2ish" right oblique strain. If he responds well to plyometric work, Hall could be cleared to start throwing in the near future, which would put him on track for a late-September return from the IL.

Trevor Megill RP | MIL
Brewers' Trevor Megill: Live BP session on tap
Megill (elbow) threw his second bullpen session Saturday since landing on the injured list and is expected to face hitters this week, MLB.com reports.
Megill is continuing to target a Sept. 16 return from the IL, which would represent a positive outcome after the Milwaukee closer was initially shelved Aug. 27 due to a Grade 1 right flexor strain. Before the Brewers clear him to rejoin the big-league bullpen, Megill will need to show during his throwing sessions that his command and velocity isn't affected by the injury, and he could require a tune-up outing in the minors prior to his activation. While Megill has been out of commission, Abner Uribe has collected three of the Brewers' five saves, with Jared Koenig and Aaron Ashby nabbing the other two.

Tylor Megill SP | NYM
Mets' Tylor Megill: Endures rocky rehab start
Megill (elbow) allowed five earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three in two innings during his rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Syracuse. He also hit two batters and threw a wild pitch.
After turning in a 21:6 K:BB and posting a 1.93 ERA over 14 innings in his first four rehab starts between Syracuse and Double-A Binghamton, Megill has regressed while making his last two minor-league appearances for the Triple-A club. Between those outings, Megill has allowed six earned runs on 10 hits and four walks across six innings. Though he's now tossed at least 65 pitches in each of his last four appearances in the minors and looks to be stretched out enough to handle a starting role, Megill's poor showings his last two times out have probably removed him from consideration for a spot in New York's rotation once he's activated from the 60-day injured list. The Mets look content to proceed with rookies Jonah Tong and Brandon Sproat at the back end of the rotation, so Megill could be ticketed for a long-relief role with the big club once his rehab assignment ends.

Kyle Stowers LF | MIA
Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Rehab assignment paused
Stowers (oblique) returned to Miami for further evaluation Monday after being unable to play at Triple-A Jacksonville on his rehab assignment over the previous two days due to general fatigue, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.
Stowers began a rehab assignment Friday with Jacksonville, going 0-for-3 with a walk while serving as a designated hitter. He had been expected to play again Saturday and Sunday, but he went unused both days. It's unclear whether the fatigue he's experiencing is related to the oblique strain that landed him on the 15-day injured list in mid-August, or if he's contending with a different issue. More could be known about Stowers' status later Monday after he's looked at by team doctors.

Aidan Miller SS | PHI
Phillies' Aidan Miller: Climbs to Triple-A
The Phillies promoted Miller from Double-A Reading to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
After earning a pair of promotions in 2024, Miller had up to this point spent the entire 2025 season at Reading, slashing .259/.382/.427 with 13 home runs, 52 stolen bases and a 14.9 percent walk rate over 489 plate appearances. Miller had opened September by going 8-for-19 with two extra-base hits, two stolen bases and a 9:4 K:BB in six games, with his hot start to the month convincing the Phillies that he was ready for a stiffer test. Though Miller is likely to remain at the Triple-A level for the rest of the season, a call-up to the big leagues can't be completely discounted if the hamstring strain that star shortstop Trea Turner suffered in Sunday's loss to the Marlins proves to be a long-term concern. For now, Edmundo Sosa would appear to be the top choice to step in as the Phillies' everyday shortstop if Turner is forced to go on the injured list.

Willy Adames SS | SF
Giants' Willy Adames: Tallies ninth stolen base in loss
Adames went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.
Adames failed to record a hit but reached base on two free passes and stole second in the fourth inning. The shortstop has struggled following a hot end to August, going hitless in three of his last five outings. Overall, he's slashing .228/.317/.425 with 86 runs scored, 78 RBI, 27 long balls and nine stolen bases across 603 plate appearances in 143 games this season.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Giants' Rafael Devers: Logs RBI in loss
Devers went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.
Devers lined an RBI single to center field in the sixth inning before coming around to score the team's final run. The 28-year-old has safely reached base in 12 consecutive games, batting .375 with six home runs and a 7:13 BB:K across 55 plate appearances during that span. Overall, he's slashing .263/.380/.492 with 100 RBI, 87 runs scored, 31 long balls and one stolen base in 645 plate appearances over 144 games between San Francisco and Boston.

Michael King SP | SD
Padres' Michael King: Lined up to start Tuesday
King is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Reds at Petco Park, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
He would also be lined up for a second start this week Sunday at home versus the Rockies. King has made only one start for the Padres since late May, having missed most of that time due to a shoulder issue and more recently a knee injury. The Padres are aiming for him to make four starts before the end of this month as he gets ramped up for the postseason. King made an unofficial five-inning start at the Padres' spring training complex in Arizona this past Thursday, so he could be capable of covering at least five frames versus the Reds.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Phillies' Trea Turner: Set for MRI on Monday
Turner is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his right hamstring in Philadelphia on Monday, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The MRI will shed more light on the grade of the hamstring strain that Turner sustained in the seventh inning of Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Marlins. Even if Turner receives a positive prognosis following the MRI and avoids a stint on the injured list, he's still likely to be held out of the lineup for Monday's series opener versus the Mets. Edmundo Sosa started at shortstop when Turner sat out for rest purposes in Saturday's 4-2 win over Miami, so Sosa will presumably be the top choice to replace Turner in the lineup Monday.

John Brebbia RP | COL
Braves' John Brebbia: Dropped from 40-man roster
Atlanta designated Brebbia for assignment Monday.
He'll give up his spot on the 40-man roster and 28-man active roster to right-hander Alexis Diaz, whom Atlanta claimed off waivers from the Dodgers. After being called up from Triple-A Gwinnett on Aug. 29, Brebbia appeared in three games out of the Atlanta bullpen and surrendered five runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk while striking out six batters over 4.2 innings.
