Doval (3-0) earned the win over Toronto on Sunday, striking out two batters in a scoreless inning of relief.

Doval entered the game in the bottom of the eighth frame with the score tied 3-3. He kept things that way by retiring the side in order on 15 pitches, with two of his outs coming via punchout. Doval then moved into position for the victory when New York put up five runs in the top of the ninth. The veteran righty has been a high-leverage part of the Yankees' bullpen this season, though he hasn't been a particularly appealing fantasy asset with just one save and three holds. Doval does have three victories, however, and he has a fine 1.16 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB over 26.2 innings despite a poor 5.06 ERA.

Sabrowski (elbow) joined High-A Lake County on Sunday to begin a rehab assignment, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Sabrowski didn't end up pitching Sunday after Lake County's game against West Michigan got rained out, but he'll likely be on the pitching schedule for the affiliate's next contest Tuesday. The southpaw reliever has been on the shelf since May 25 due to elbow inflammation and is expected to make multiple appearances in the minors before rejoining the Cleveland bullpen. Despite not recording any saves over his 25 appearances on the season while Cade Smith has been locked in as the Guardians' closer, Sabrowski has been an underrated fantasy asset; the 28-year-old sports a 1.71 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 39:13 K:BB and has collected two wins and 18 holds across 21 innings.

Garcia (elbow) has yet to pitch on back-to-back days during his rehab assignment, or even twice in three days, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander did show improved velocity during his most recent appearance for Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday, but as yet he hasn't been able to bounce back quickly after an outing as he completes his recovery from surgery late last season to remove scar tissue from his elbow. That could delay Garcia's 2026 debut if the Blue Jays want to make sure he can handle a more regular usage pattern before adding him to an already overworked bullpen. Over his last four rehab appearances between Single-A Dunedin and Buffalo, Garcia has a 4.91 ERA and 1.91 WHIP over 3.2 innings with a 4:3 K:BB.

Chisholm drew three walks, scored one run and stole two bases over three plate appearances in Sunday's 8-3 victory versus the Blue Jays.

Chisholm didn't start the contest, but he entered as a pinch hitter for Amed Rosario in the sixth inning. Chisholm took a walk and subsequently stole second base, though he was ultimately caught in a rundown between third and home following a groundball. The speedy infielder walked in each of his other two plate appearances, and he followed one of those free passes with another steal. Chisholm is up to 20 thefts on the season, marking the fourth straight year he's reached that milestone. He ranks fifth in the majors in that category while adding nine homers, 29 RBI, 35 runs and a .229/.318/.400 slash line through 274 plate appearances.

Caballero went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in an 8-3 win over Toronto on Sunday.

The game was tied 3-3 entering the ninth inning, but a two-run homer by Ben Rice and Caballero's three-run shot turned the tide in New York's favor. Caballero has never hit double-digit homers in a campaign, but he's on pace to do so this season with six long balls across 59 contests. He's added a .258/.313/.402 slash line with 21 RBI, 26 runs and 15 stolen bases and has given New York valuable defensive versatility. Caballero jumped from second base to third base to left field in Sunday's game, and he's also also played shortstop and right field this season.

Guerrero (back) was available to pinch hit Sunday and will likely rejoin the starting lineup Tuesday against the Red Sox, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.

The first baseman was getting ready to hit in the ninth inning when the game was close, but he was kept on the bench after the Yankees erupted for five runs in the top of the frame. Guerrero will benefit from Monday's off day after sitting out the last two contests with lower-back tightness. He's batting just .184 (7-for-38) to begin June, with his homer drought standing at 22 games.

Double-A Erie reinstated Sears (elbow) from its 7-day injured list Sunday and assigned him to High-A West Michigan.

While working his way back from a left elbow osteophyte fracture, Sears had resided on Erie's IL all season before being cleared to begin a rehab assignment in mid-May. Over five starts between the rookie-level Florida Complex League and West Michigan, Sears compiled a 2.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB in 13.2 innings. He'll get some more time to knock off rust and build up his pitch count in the Midwest League before likely joining the Erie rotation at some point later this summer.

Witt went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two steals in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Houston.

Witt's activity on the bases continued Sunday, as he recorded his ninth steal of the month and third multi-steal effort of the campaign to boost his season total to 26 stolen bases. The star shortstop is currently riding a modest five-game hitting streak, during which he has gone 9-for-22 (.409) with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored. Overall, Witt is hitting .287/.358/.455 with nine homers, 19 doubles, a triple, 28 RBI and 36 runs scored across 72 games this year.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Wells (head) will go out on a rehab assignment before being activated from the 10-day injured list, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Wells, who is recovering from cervical heaches, will be eligible to return from the IL ahead of the Yankees' next game Tuesday versus the White Sox, but the 26-year-old will get some time to shake off rust in the minors before he rejoins the big club. The skipper didn't go into any specifics regarding how long the rehab assignment might last, but if Wells is able to catch a full nine-inning game with a minor-league affiliate early in the week without incident, he might be activated prior to this weekend's home series versus the Reds.

Knipp (elbow) was assigned to Single-A Inland Empire on June 5 and made his debut for the affiliate a day later, striking out a batter and scattering one hit and two walks over a scoreless inning.

Knipp hasn't pitched for Inland Empire since making his debut, though it's unclear if his absence over the past week was the result of a setback or simply part of a workload-management plan coming off Tommy John surgery, which he underwent in early 2025. Before joining Inland Empire, Knipp made six appearances in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, where he turned in a 5.68 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 10:2 K:BB over 6.1 innings.
