Jacob Melton LF | TB
Rays' Jacob Melton: Returns to Triple-A lineup
Melton (ankle) went 1-for-4 with a run scored Wednesday in his return to the Triple-A Durham lineup after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.
Melton was back in action at Durham for the first time since April 18 after a left ankle sprain kept him on the shelf for more than two months. Prior to being activated, Melton completed a five-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, where he went 6-for-11 with a home run, two stolen bases and three walks.

Cody Freeman 3B | TEX
Rangers' Cody Freeman: Out with herniated disc
The Rangers placed Freeman on the 10-day injured list Thursday due to a herniated disc.
Freeman missed the first two months of the season with a lower-back fracture, though it's unclear if this injury is related. The utility player is 4-for-17 at the dish during his brief time in the majors this season.

Ernie Clement 2B | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Back in action Thursday
Clement (hip) will start at shortstop and bat second Thursday against the Rangers.
Left hip soreness forced Clement to miss four starts in the past six games, but he was able to appear as a pinch hitter Wednesday and will now return to the starting nine for Thursday's series opener. The 30-year-old infielder has fallen into a cold spell at the plate recently, going just 2-for-19 with a walk and a run scored across his last six games.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Rangers' Corey Seager: Reinstated from injured list
The Rangers activated Seager from the 7-day concussion injured list Thursday.
Seager was sidelined for two weeks with concussion symptoms following a collision at home plate earlier this month. He skipped a rehab assignment, as the Rangers were satisfied with how Seager looked and felt in on-field workouts. Seager is sporting a disappointing .186/.284/.373 with nine home runs in 47 games this season.

Caleb Durbin 3B | BOS
Red Sox's Caleb Durbin: Back in Boston lineup
Durbin (finger) will start at third base and bat sixth in Thursday's contest versus the Yankees.
Durbin had to leave Wednesday's game against the Rockies due to a partial dislocation of his left pinkie finger. While Durbin's finger surely isn't fully recovered, he will attempt to play through the injury.

Jovani Moran RP | BOS
Red Sox's Jovani Moran: Starting rehab assignment
Moran (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Thursday, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.
Moran has missed the past three weeks with left elbow inflammation, but he's improved enough to be cleared for a game setting. The southpaw should rejoin the Boston bullpen by late June or early July.

Seth Lugo SP | KC
Royals' Seth Lugo: Hit hard in loss
Lugo (3-5) took the loss Thursday against the Rays, allowing seven runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.
Lugo fell victim to the long ball Thursday, with six of the seven runs charged to the right-hander coming on three homers (including two off the bat of Junior Caminero). Lugo's ERA is now up to 4.18 through 16 starts (90.1 innings) this season with a 1.37 WHIP and 69:30 K:BB. He'll look to rebound his next time out, currently scheduled to come next week at home in a rematch with the Rays.
