Spencer Horwitz 1B | PIT
Blue Jays' Spencer Horwitz: Productive in Friday's win
Horwitz went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's win over the Yankees.
Getting the start at DH and batting fourth, Horwitz poked RBI singles in the third and sixth innings as part of an 8-5 victory. The 26-year-old has seen his production tail off of late -- he sports a .220/.267/.317 slash line over his last 10 games -- but with Joey Loperfido getting a look as the full-time left fielder and Davis Schneider back in the mix at second base as a result, Horwitz could DH more often and not be stretched defensively at the keystone, allowing him to focus on his offensive contributions.

Joey Loperfido LF | HOU
Blue Jays' Joey Loperfido: Two hits in Friday's win
Loperfido went 2-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Yankees.
The 25-year-old has had a quick start to his Jays tenure, going 3-for-10 in two games since being traded from the Astros. Loperfido has started both games for his new squad in left field, but he could shift to center on occasion when Daulton Varsho needs a breather. On the season, Loperfido's slashing .241/.299/.371 with just two homers in 40 big-league games, but he'll get more consistent playing time in Toronto down the stretch and get a chance to replicate something closer to his minor-league numbers -- in 71 career games for Triple-A Sugar Land, he has a .256/.352/.498 slash line with 18 home runs and 13 steals.

Jake Meyers CF | HOU
Astros' Jake Meyers: Tallies eighth stolen base
Meyers went 0-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base Friday against the Rays.
Meyers didn't have a strong showing at the plate and is now hitting only .170 with four RBI and three runs scored across 13 games since the All-Star break. However, he managed his eighth stolen base of the season and first since June 26. Despite his struggles at the dish, Meyers has started 22 consecutive games in center field.

Aaron Judge RF | NYY
Yankees' Aaron Judge: First to 100 RBI
Judge went 2-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Friday's 8-5 loss to the Blue Jays.
His first-inning shot off Kevin Gausman made Judge the first player in the majors this season to reach both 40 homers and 100 RBI, and he has a big lead in both categories -- Shohei Ohtani is second in home runs with 33, while Jose Ramirez is second in RBI with 91. Judge has been on an absolute tear since the All-Star break as he bolsters his case for a second AL MVP Award, posting a .404/.556/.809 slash line in his last 13 games with six homers, 12 runs and 16 RBI.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Yankees' Marcus Stroman: Early exit against former club
Stroman (7-6) took the loss Friday, surrendering seven runs on eight hits and a walk over 2.2 innings as the Yankees fell 8-5 to the Blue Jays. He struck out three.
Facing the team he spent the first five-plus seasons of his big-league career with, Stroman got tagged for three runs in the first inning and four more in the third before getting the hook. The veteran right-hander managed to avoid serving up a home run -- the first time he's done so in a Yankee Stadium start since May 3 against the Tigers -- but it was still another rough home outing for Stroman, who has a 5.34 ERA in 59 innings at home this year but a 2.83 ERA in 57.1 innings on the road. He'll try to turn things around in his next outing, which also comes at Yankee Stadium next week against the Angels.
