Athletics' Tyler Nevin: Back in lineup
Nevin (migraine) will start at first base and bat eighth Saturday versus the Blue Jays.
Migraines have prevented Nevin from playing in Oakland's last two games, but he seems to be feeling better ahead of Saturday's contest. The 27-year-old has slashed .188/.333/.313 across 21 plate appearances since the All-Star break.

Davis Schneider LF | TOR
Blue Jays' Davis Schneider: Sitting Saturday
Schneider isn't in Toronto's lineup for Saturday's game versus the Athletics.
Schneider will take a seat Saturday after going 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Friday's series opener. His absence will put Spencer Horwitz at second base and create an opportunity for Addison Barger to start in right field.

Mariners' Dylan Moore: Multi-hit effort in win
Moore went 2-for-4 with a run in a win over the Mets on Friday.
Moore generated the only multi-hit effort of the night for the Mariners, accomplishing the feat for the first time since July 30. Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Drives in two Friday
Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a two-run single in a win over the Mets on Friday.
Raleigh provided the final runs of the night via his eighth-inning knock, which plated Leo Rivas and Victor Robles. The slugging backstop crossed the 70-RBI threshold for the second consecutive season in the process, and he's now knocked in multiple runs on six occasions in the last calendar month. Raleigh also extended his on-base streak to eight games with his single, and he's reached safely in 15 of the last 16 contests overall.

Athletics' Armando Alvarez: Headed back to Vegas
The Athletics optioned Alvarez to Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday.
Alvarez went 1-for-3 with an RBI and scored a run while filling in for Seth Brown, who returned from paternity leave Saturday. The 30-year-old Alvarez boasts a 1.003 OPS through 251 plate appearances in Triple-A, making him a candidate to return to Oakland before the end of the season.

Athletics' JJ Bleday: On base twice in loss
Bleday went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in a loss to the Blue Jays on Friday.
Bleday provided one of three extra-base hits on the night for the Athletics, hitting safely for the ninth time in 10 games in the process. The slugging outfielder is currently in an eight-game home-run drought, but Bleday still carries a serviceable .756 OPS on the campaign thanks to having laced over half (50) of his 99 hits for extra bases.

Darell Hernaiz SS | ATH
Athletics' Darell Hernaiz: Slugs first big-league homer
Hernaiz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Blue Jays on Friday.
The rookie accounted for the Athletics' only run of the game with his 391-foot shot to left center in the third inning, his first big-league homer. Friday's start was the fourth in six games for Hernaiz since returning from the 60-day injured list, and he's now hit safely in two of the last three contests. However, Friday's blast was the first extra-base hit of his career as well, and he's still limping along with a .188 average and .472 OPS across 90 plate appearances this season.
