Orioles GM Mike Elias said Tuesday that Kittredge (knee) could be back by the end of May, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Kittredge threw his first mound session over the weekend and seems to be flying through his return from arthroscopic knee surgery. The veteran right-hander could face live batters in about two weeks. Kittredge had originally been given a June/July timeframe for his recovery.

Orioles general manager Mike Elias said Tuesday that Eflin's right lat strain is "very mild" and the pitcher's return is expected to be measured more in "weeks than months," Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Elias added that Eflin -- who was placed on the 15-day injured list April 9 -- is slated to play catch in a few days. It's too soon to know what Eflin's timetable to return is, but he does not appear headed for a long-term absence as long as he can avoid setbacks.

Langford (oblique) will swing a bat Tuesday for the first time since being placed on the 10-day injured list last week, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Langford noted that he feels "pretty much fine," although he hadn't really tested his right oblique out prior to Tuesday. The young outfielder is one week away from being eligible for activation from the IL, but it's too soon to know whether he'll be ready to go on that date.

Raley is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

The 30-year-old will sit against lefty Nick Lodolo after a run of seven straight starts, during which Raley went 3-for-23 with two walks, two steals, four RBI and two runs. Dylan Moore is receiving the start in right field Tuesday.

Julien will start at second base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's contest against the Mets.

It marks the third straight game that Julien has batted leadoff and the eighth game in a row that he's been in the lineup. Previous leadoff man Matt Wallner is hitting third for the Twins on Tuesday.

Polanco is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Polanco started the previous four games at designated hitter but will receive a day off after going 4-for-13 with a homer, two RBI and two runs during that stretch. The 31-year-old isn't expected to play the field for a bit longer due to lingering side soreness, but the injury hasn't dampened his production early in 2025, as he has a 1.007 OPS with three homers through 11 contests.

Cabrera is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Cabrera has operated as the Yankees' primary third baseman early in the season but will take a seat Tuesday after starting the previous three games. He's batting .278 though 39 plate appearances but doesn't have any extra-base hits. Oswald Peraza is taking his place at the hot corner.

Thomas (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game in Baltimore.

Thomas has now missed six straight games while battling a bruised right wrist, although there's been no indication to this point that he will require a trip to the injured list. Angel Martinez will make a fourth straight start in center field Tuesday.

India is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Yankees.

India returned to action Monday after sitting out Sunday's contest with right quad tightness. It's not yet clear whether he has had a setback or if this is just maintenance.

The Rangers re-signed Ahmed to a minor-league contract Tuesday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Ahmed spent the spring with the Rangers before he was let go March 22. The veteran infielder has been working out in Arizona and will join one of Texas' minor-league affiliates in the coming days.
