The Twins placed Keaschall (forearm) on the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Keaschall suffered a right forearm fracture after getting hit by a pitch in the first inning of Friday's game. The Twins haven't provided a timeline for the 22-year-old's return just yet, but it will likely be several weeks before he's ready to come off the IL.

Butler is not in Saturday's lineup against the White Sox.

It's Butler's second day off of the season and first since April 12. He has led off in every start and is hitting .257 with four home runs, 16 runs, seven RBI and five steals in 26 games.

Langeliers is not in Saturday's lineup against the White Sox.

Langeliers had started seven games in a row, so this is just a routine day off. He's hitting .220 with two home runs, four runs, four RBI and one steal over his last 10 games.

The Athletics recalled Lopez from Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday.

Just three days after being sent to Triple-A, Lopez will return to the big club Saturday to replace J.T. Ginn (elbow) on the active roster. The 27-year-old Lopez has punched out five batters and walked three over 4.1 shutout innings in the majors this season and will likely return to a middle-relief role.

The Athletics placed Ginn on the 15-day injured list Saturday with right elbow inflammation.

Ginn surrendered three runs over 3.2 innings during his most recent start Thursday, and he appears to have come away from the outing with some elbow trouble. He'll sit out the next couple of weeks at least as a result. A rotation replacement for Ginn hasn't been named yet, but Jacob Lopez will come up from Triple-A to give the Athletics extra bullpen depth for now.

The Orioles added Selby to their active roster to serve as the 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the Tigers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Selby gave up two earned runs in one inning during his lone major-league outing this season, but he's given up just one run in 5.1 frames at Triple-A. He'll give the O's some bullpen depth for Saturday's twin bill but will almost certainly be sent back to Norfolk after the end of the second game.

The Orioles recalled Carlson from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

With Tyler O'Neill (neck) headed for the injured list, Carlson will come up from the minors to replenish Baltimore's outfield depth. The 26-year-old has spent most of the season in Triple-A, where he's slashed .286/.418/.381 with 11 RBI, 18 runs scored and four steals through 18 games.

The Orioles placed O'Neill on the 10-day injured list Saturday with neck soreness, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

O'Neill's neck has been a recurring problem over the past couple of weeks, and the Orioles will now send him to the injured list to give him time to properly correct the issue. He'll be eligible to return May 4, and Dylan Carlson will come up from Triple-A Norfolk in the meantime to fill the open roster spot.

Paris isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Paris has cooled off tremendously after a hot start to the season, going 0-for-21 with 12 strikeouts over his last eight games. He'll take a seat for the second game in a row Saturday while Tim Anderson starts at second base and bats ninth.

Giolito (hamstring) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Wednesday will mark Giolito's Red Sox debut and his first start at the big-league level since 2023. Giolito missed the entire 2024 season while recovering from an internal brace procedure on his right elbow, but a left hamstring injury suffered during spring training is what has kept the 30-year-old on the shelf for the first month of the season. He's made five rehab appearances in the minors, turning in a 5.19 ERA and 1.79 WHIP across 17.1 innings between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester. He reached 85 pitches during his final outing, so he may not be under any restrictions during his first start back in the majors.
