Seager started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 8-1 win over Seattle.

Seager, who served as the designated hitter Saturday when he was activated off the injured list, was back home at shortstop Sunday. The Rangers have been in an offensive funk and desperately need Seager's bat in the lineup. The shortstop ranks third on the club with a .291 batting average.

Arias went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-4 win over Toronto.

Arias had his most productive game in a couple of weeks. He entered Sunday batting .184 (7-for-38) with one RBI over the last 13 games. Arias started at shortstop, his fourth start there in the last six games and 11th this season.

Manzardo went 2-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Manzardo shook off a 1-for-14 stretch with his fifth multi-hit game of the season. The steal was his first as a big-leaguer and just his fifth since becoming a professional in 2021.

Smith went 4-for-5 with an RBI triple and two runs scored in Sunday's win over Seattle.

Smith served as the Rangers' leadoff hitter for the third straight game and set the tone for the 8-1 win. He singled in the first, third and fourth innings, and added an RBI triple in the eighth. Corey Seager (hamstring) returned to his post at shortstop, so Smith took over center field duties Sunday. Smith is slashing .311/.386/.478 with eight extra-base hits and 16 runs scored and could see regular duty in center field after the Rangers placed Leody Taveras on waivers.

India went 2-for-5 with a home run in Sunday's 11-6 win over Baltimore.

India hit his first home run of the season and first in 38 games. He's had a miserable start to the season by hitting .212/.328/.265 with just five RBI and 12 runs before Sunday's game despite batting mostly leadoff. Perhaps Sunday's game will finally get his bat going.

Evans (1-1) yielded six runs on 11 hits and two walks over five innings Sunday, striking out five and taking a loss against Texas.

All six runs against Evans came during a disastrous third inning in which he got pecked to death by six singles and both his walks. Outside of that frame, only one Ranger reached scoring position. Evans needed 92 pitches to complete five innings and forced only nine whiffs. He's thrown five frames in each of his first two MLB appearances, but his ERA spiked to 7.20 after Sunday's rough outing. Evans is currently expected to face Toronto at home next weekend.

Jax allowed a run on a home run with a strikeout in an inning of work in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Red Sox to earn his ninth hold.

After his early struggles (10 earned runs in his first eight innings) that saw him demoted to lower-leverage work, Jax had improved before Sunday with five scoreless innings and a 11:0 K:BB. Even with giving up the home run Sunday, it looks like he's back to working in the eighth inning ahead of closer Jhoan Duran.

DeGrom (2-1) allowed a run on three hits and two walks over five innings Sunday, striking out three and picking up a win against Seattle.

The lone run against deGrom came in the third frame on an RBI groundout from Jorge Polanco, but the Rangers immediately answered back with a six-run inning. It was deGrom's second straight win after beginning the year 0-1 through five starts. He tossed 59 of 89 pitches for strikes Sunday and generated 11 whiffs, including six with his fastball. His ERA dropped to 2.61 with a 36:9 K:BB through 38 innings. However, DeGrom has failed to complete six innings in five of his seven outings this season. He's lined up to start in Detroit next weekend.

Duran earned the save in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Red Sox, allowing one hit while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Duran was summoned for the second straight game and needed just nine pitches to slam the door once again. While the 27-year-old has had only four save opportunities this season, he's converted all of them and sports a 1.17 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 17:8 K:BB across 15.1 innings.

Paddack did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 win against the Red Sox, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts over five innings.

Paddack was given an early 1-0 lead but allowed three runs across the second and third innings. The 29-year-old has now completed exactly five frames in five straight starts, yielding a combined eight earned runs during that stretch. He'll bring a 5.57 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 24:16 K:BB across 32.1 innings into a scheduled home matchup with the Giants next weekend, though his overall line remains inflated by a nine-run blowup in his season debut.
