Rojas isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs.

Rojas will get a chance to catch his breath Saturday after going 2-for-4 during Friday's 13-3 loss. Lenyn Sosa will start at the keystone while Rojas sits.

Grisham isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.

Grisham will get a chance to rest Saturday after making four consecutive starts, during which he went 5-for-18 with two home runs. While he sits, Jasson Dominguez, Cody Bellinger and Aaron Judge will start across the Yankees' outfield with Ben Rice as the DH.

Wells isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.

Wells will grab a seat on the bench Saturday after going 0-for-3 with a walk in Friday's series opener. J.C. Escarra will take over behind the plate and bat seventh.

Varsho went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's loss to the Tigers.

The center fielder got the Blue Jays on the board in the sixth inning by swatting a Jack Flaherty fastball over the fence in left-center field, but the home team was already in a 4-0 hole at that point. Varsho has been supplying big-time power since making his belated season debut in late April, slashing .227/.265/.659 with six homers and 13 RBI in only 12 games.

Bichette went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Tigers.

The shortstop took Tommy Kahnle deep in the eighth inning to get Toronto within a run, but the home side couldn't complete the comeback. Bichette has four homers on the season, and three of them have come in the last six games, a stretch in which he's also connected for four doubles. Over his last 16 contests, Bichette is slashing .313/.378/.597 as he puts his disappointing 2024 campaign firmly behind him.

Yesavage is being promoted to High-A Vancouver, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

The Blue Jays' first-round pick in the 2024 First-year Player Draft was predictably too much for hitters in Florida State League, posting a 2.43 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 55:8 K:BB through 33.1 innings for Single-A Dunedin to begin his first pro season. Yesavage will head north and west alongside 2024 second-round pick Khal Stephen (2.06 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 48:7 K:BB in 39.1 innings for Dunedin) and 2022 19th-round pick Gage Stanifer (0.69 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 38:12 K:BB in 26 innings) as the organization gives some of its top pitching prospects a new challenge.

Bibee (3-4) took the loss in Friday's game against the Reds after giving up five runs (four earned) on 10 hits and a walk while striking out four batters in six innings.

Bibee put his team in an early hole by allowing five runs in the first three innings. He managed to settle in during the next three frames, but the early deficit proved to be too large for the Guardians' offense to come back from. After taking losses in consecutive starts, the 26-year-old righty will look to turn things around next week against the Twins.

Smith went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Rangers.

Smith sat both Wednesday and Thursday but returned to the lineup Friday. He's started only eight of 14 games in May, greatly diminishing his fantasy appeal in redraft formats, though he has gone 7-for-27 with a pair of doubles and a .355 on-base percentage in that span.

Paredes went 1-for-4 with two RBI, a walk and a run scored Friday against the Rangers.

Paredes gave Houston the lead with a two-run single in the seventh inning, continuing his recent productive stretch. He now has seven RBI, six runs scored and two homers while hitting .281 across his last nine starts. Paredes is also hitting .277 with a .414 on-base percentage in May, while maintaining an impressive 9:11 K:BB.

Sogard started at first base and went 2-for-3 in Friday's 4-2 loss to Atlanta.

Sogard made his fifth start in the last six games and is 6-for-21 since his call-up from Triple-A Worcester. He's been seeing time at first base since Triston Casas suffered a season-ending knee injury, but considering the recent news that Kristian Campbell is taking reps at first base, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com, Sogard could see his window of playing time close in the near future.
