Noel started in right field and went 0-for-2 before being lifted for a pinch hitter in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Reds.

Noel's average slipped to .150 following his hitless day, and he has one hit over the last 23 at-bats. He's been part of a platoon in right field with Nolan Jones, but something may have to change soon. Guardians right fielders rank last in batting average (.170), 29th in OPS (.517) and 29th in slugging (.288). Lane Thomas (wrist), who is expected to return in the coming days, could help alleviate the problem.

Cleveland pitching coach Carl Willis said Sunday that the organization has put together a draft of the rehabilitation calendar for Bieber (elbow), Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Willis and other decision makers were pleased with the results of Bieber's live batting practice session Friday, and the coach said the next phase of the right-hander's rehab could begin "very soon." A likely opening scenario involves Bieber appearing in a rookie-level game in the Arizona Complex League. Looking out further, the pitcher could move his rehab to minor league affiliates in what will likely be a multi-week progression.

Jackson (hand) issued a walk and struck out a batter in a scoreless inning during Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Astros.

Jackson battled a swollen hand throughout the week after being hit by a comebacker May 12 against the Rockies, but he returned to the mound Sunday in a non-save situation. The right-hander didn't appear to have any lingering issues as he threw 10 of 15 pitches for strikes, and his average fastball velocity of 93.6 mph was only marginally lower than his season average. Shawn Armstrong picked up a pair of saves in his absence, but Jackson should reclaim primary closing duties now that he's healthy.

Robert went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored Sunday against the Cubs.

Robert ended a three-game hitless streak, but he has still reached base in only two of his last seven games. He's hitting just .184 this season and has shown little improvement as the campaign has progressed. On the other hand, Robert has returned some fantasy value with five home runs and 17 steals across 43 contests.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Rangers.

Diaz popped his fifth home run of the season, three of which have come in May. He's provided well-rounded production across 16 games in the month, as he's hitting .292 with 10 RBI and seven runs scored. All of Diaz's overall numbers are lagging relative to expectations, but he has gotten on track at the plate after a poor start to the campaign.

Campero (ankle) progressed to running on a treadmill Saturday, per MLB.com.

Campero twisted his ankle during an at-bat May 6 and subsequently landed on the 10-day IL. He's been out long enough to be eligible to be reinstated, but it's unclear how much longer the outfielder will need to recover. Campero went 2-for-10 with a stolen base for the Angels prior to the injury, and he could see playing time harder to come by upon his return due to Matthew Lugo, who was called up following Campero's injury, thriving to the tune of an .880 OPS so far with the big club.

Neris suffered a right finger blister during his appearance against the Dodgers on Saturday and was held out of Sunday's series finale due to the issue, per MLB.com.

The blister may help explain Neris' rough outing Saturday -- he gave up three runs on two walks and a hit while uncorking a wild pitch without retiring any batters. This doesn't appear to be a serious injury for the veteran reliever, but the Angels probably will opt to hold him out until the blister is healed enough to no longer affect his throwing. Neris joined the Angels on a minor-league deal in mid-April and had tossed five straight scoreless outings before his blow-up Saturday.

Gil (lat) is on track with his throwing program and is targeting a return to the mound within the next 1-to-2 weeks, per MLB.com.

Gil sustained a right lat strain in late February, resulting in a trip to the injured list to begin the campaign. The right-hander kicked off a throwing program in late April and appears to be making gradual but steady progress toward a return. If Gil continues to move forward without any setbacks, he could be pitching for the Yankees sometime in June.

Brubaker (ribs) struck out three batters and gave up one hit and no walks over three scoreless innings in his rehab start Sunday with High-A Hudson Valley.

Making the first start of what could an extended rehab assignment, Brubaker tossed 37 pitches (23 strikes). The right-hander spent the entire 2024 season on the shelf while completing his recovery from Tommy John surgery, and though he was cleared for the start of spring training, he broke three ribs when he was hit by a comebacker in a Feb. 21 Grapefruit League game. Expect Brubaker to eventually move his assignment up to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before potentially returning from the 60-day injured list in early or mid-June.

Bellinger went 3-for-3 with a two-RBI double and a grand slam during Sunday's 8-2 win over the Mets.

Bellinger plated six of the Yankees' eight runs Sunday, tying his career high in RBI. He blew the game open in the bottom of the eighth inning, launching a grand slam off Genesis Cabrera to make it a six-run game. Bellinger extended his hit streak to 13 games with an RBI double in the first inning, and he's batting 20-for-53 (.377) with four home runs, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and a 7:10 BB:K during that stretch.
