Buxton remains in the concussion protocol but will travel with the Twins for their 10-game road trip that begins Monday in Kansas City, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.

The 31-year-old has been in the concussion protocol since his collision with Carlos Correa on May 15, but the outfielder has been ramping up his baseball activities over the past few days. Buxton still needs to officially clear the protocol before being reinstated from the 7-day IL, but the fact he'll be traveling with the team could indicate his activation is on the horizon.

The Angels optioned Dana to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Dana was called up by the Halos on Saturday, and he'll return to the minors after giving up three runs over three innings out of the bullpen in a 6-2 loss to the Marlins. The right-hander should return to the rotation at Salt Lake, where he has a 5.21 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 41:16 K:BB over 38 innings this season.

The Angels recalled Eder from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

The left-hander spent the past three weeks at Salt Lake but will rejoin the Halos ahead of Sunday's series finale versus Miami. Eder has given up two earned runs over 2.1 frames in the majors this season and has a 4.78 ERA in six starts at Triple-A.

The Orioles removed Rutschman in the top of the fifth inning of Sunday's game against the Red Sox due to an apparent injury, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports. He went 0-for-2 at the plate prior to departing.

Baltimore has yet to provide an explanation for Rutschman's early exit, though Meyer notes that the backstop appeared to be in some discomfort after taking a foul ball to his catcher's mask in the bottom of the third inning. Rutschman stayed in the game and played an inning behind the plate after that, but he was lifted when his next turn in the lineup came up in the top of the fifth. Maverick Handley came on to replace Rutschman, who could be receiving an evaluation for a concussion.

Skubal (5-2) pitched a complete-game shutout Sunday against the Guardians, striking out 13 and allowing two hits and no walks across nine innings.

The left-hander pounded the zone with 72 of his 94 pitches going for strikes, and he induced 26 whiffs while carrying a perfect game into the sixth inning. Skubal showed no signs of slowing down either, as he hit 102.6 mph on his final pitch of the game to punch out Gabriel Arias. It's the first complete-game shutout of his career and is his fourth scoreless outing of 2025. He now has a 2.49 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 92:7 K:BB across 68.2 innings this season as he continues to build his case as arguably the top pitcher in MLB.

O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Marlins, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

O'Hoppe started the previous six games and will receive a breather Sunday after going 10-for-26 with four homers during that stretch. Travis d'Arnaud will take over behind the plate and bat sixth in the series finale against Miami.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Langeliers will receive a breather for the day game after he caught all 11 innings of Saturday's 9-6 loss while going 1-for-6 with a stolen base and a run. Willie MacIver will start in place of Langeliers behind the dish for what will be his MLB debut.

Kurtz (hip) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Kurtz's absence from the lineup isn't especially surprising after he was lifted late in Saturday's 11-inning loss to the Phillies due to the left hip flexor injury he sustained while running the bases. The Athletics are currently labeling Kurtz as day-to-day, but his availability for the start of the team's upcoming series in Houston following Monday's team off day isn't yet known. Logan Davidson will cover first base Sunday in Kurtz's stead.

Neto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The 24-year-old missed the start of the season while recovering from shoulder surgery, but he started 33 straight games after making his season debut April 18 before getting a rest Sunday. Neto has been one of the most productive shortstops in baseball with eight homers, eight steals, 19 RBI and 28 runs in 143 plate appearances. Tim Anderson will step in at shortstop and bat leadoff versus Miami.

Vivas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

The left-handed-hitting Vivas was on the bench for Saturday's 3-2 loss while the Rockies sent southpaw Kyle Freeland to the hill, but the infielder's absence from the lineup Sunday is more noteworthy with right-hander Antonio Senzatela starting for Colorado. Though he's been occupying the strong side of a platoon at third base with Oswald Peraza, VIvas is hitting just .167 since getting called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on May 2 and could soon be at risk of a demotion if he doesn't pick up the pace soon.
