Wilson (neck) is expected to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins, MLB.com reports.

Wilson had to sit out Tuesday's contest after tweaking his neck on a dive back into first base during Monday's game. He felt much better by the end of the night Tuesday and it appears it will be just a one-day absence for the rookie shortstop.

Jenkins (ankle) went 0-for-1 with two walks Tuesday while playing for the FCL Twins during a rehab assignment.

Jenkins suffered a sprained left ankle early in spring training but was able to return in time for the start of the Double-A season. However, he injured the ankle again after the team's first two games. He then received a cortisone shot for a high ankle sprain at the end of April. The top prospect could return to Double-A later in June.

Shuster will serve as the White Sox's opening pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Tigers, Kyle Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Shuster will draw an opener assignment for the second time in less than a week, after he tossed a scoreless inning last Friday against Baltimore. The southpaw has maxed out at three innings over his 17 appearances between the White Sox and Triple-A Charlotte this season, so he could be called upon to give Chicago a little more length in his second turn as an opener. The White Sox haven't announced their plans for once Shuster exits the contest, but righty Mike Vasil could be a candidate to work as a bulk reliever.

Wilson surrendered eight earned runs on 12 hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings of relief in Monday's 13-1 loss to the Tigers.

Since being called upon to make his fifth start of the season May 24 against the Rangers, Wilson has shifted back to the bullpen with Adrian Houser having taken control of the final spot in the rotation. After his most recent start, Wilson faced three batters in relief in last Wednesday's win over the Mets before he was tasked with mopping up Monday's blowout loss after starter Jonathan Cannon was tagged for five earned runs over three innings. Cannon was placed on the injured list a day later due to a back injury, but the White Sox aren't expected to immediately turn back to Wilson to fill the vacancy in the rotation. Instead, the White Sox will opt for a bullpen day in Wednesday's game against the Tigers, with lefty Jared Shuster likely to cover anywhere between 1-to-3 innings before being followed by a slew of relievers.

Westburg (hamstring) is set to be evaluated after playing Wednesday's minor-league rehab game with Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Westburg has been on his assignment since last Thursday, batting .267 with two doubles, two RBI and one walk over four outings (15 at-bats). If the Orioles deem him ready to rejoin the major-league roster following Wednesday's outing, the 26-year-old infielder figures to be reinstated from the injured list later this week. Westburg is set to serve as Baltimore's everyday third baseman once he returns, which would shift Ramon Urias into a part-time role.

O'Neill (shoulder) is likely to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk this weekend, MLB.com reports.

O'Neill is with the Orioles in Seattle for their current series against the Mariners, and he's almost ready to take the final step in his recovery from a left shoulder impingement. Barring any setbacks, the veteran slugger should be able to rejoin Baltimore's outfield at some point during the middle of June. Despite slashing just .188/.280/.325 with two home runs, three doubles and 10 RBI across 93 plate appearances, O'Neill figures to play just about every day either as a corner outfielder or designated hitter once he's activated from the injured list.

Brogdon struck out two batters in one perfect inning of relief against the Red Sox on Tuesday.

The contest was tight throughout, and Brogdon helped preserve a 3-3 tie when he breezed through a 1-2-3 frame in the seventh. The right-hander was blown up for four runs over two-thirds of an inning in his third appearance of the campaign May 11, but he hasn't given up an earned run in any of his seven appearances since. During that span, Brogdon has posted a 6:1 K:BB and allowed just three hits across 6.2 frames, though he hasn't seen much high-leverage work and doesn't yet have any holds or save chances.

Volpe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-2 win over Cleveland.

Volpe went deep in the seventh inning to give New York a 3-1 lead. The insurance run proved to be significant, as the Guardians scored once in the ninth but were unable to come all the way back from the deficit. Volpe's long ball snapped a 17-game homerless streak during which he batted just .226 over 62 at-bats, though he did knock in nine runs and log eight extra-base hits (six doubles and two triples) during the power drought. The shortstop has seven homers, seven steals, 34 RBI and a .760 OPS through 58 games on the season.

Triple-A Las Vegas placed Estes on its 7-day injured list May 20 due to an undisclosed injury.

After being optioned to Las Vegas in early April after two rough starts for the Athletics to begin the season, Estes made seven appearances for the Triple-A club before going down with an injury. The 23-year-old righty likely would have been in consideration for a call-up in the near future had he not gotten hurt, as he posted a 4.15 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 33:9 K:BB across 34.2 innings in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.

Triple-A Salt Lake placed Silseth on its 7-day injured list May 20 due to an unspecified injury.

Silseth hadn't pitched since May 3 before Salt Lake placed him on the IL just over two weeks later. The 25-year-old righty maintains a spot on the Angels' 40-man roster but has spent all season in the minors after falling short in his bid for a spot in the big club's rotation during spring training. Prior to getting hurt, Silseth had logged a 4.45 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 29:22 K:BB in 28.1 innings over his seven starts at Triple-A.
