Aranda went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 9-0 victory over the Mets.

The Tampa Bay first baseman extended his team's lead to 6-0 with a two-RBI double off reliever Max Kranick in the fifth inning. Despite not cracking a homer, Aranda has been on fire in June, batting .325 (14-for-43) with two doubles, seven runs scored and eight RBI across 13 contests. Through 252 total plate appearances, the 27-year-old is now slashing .321/.413/.493 with eight homers, 13 doubles, 35 runs scored and 39 RBI.

Baz (6-3) earned the win Sunday against the Mets, yielding three hits and four walks over 6.2 scoreless innings. He struck out six.

The Tampa Bay right-hander produced his first scoreless outing since April 25 at San Diego en route to securing his fifth quality start. Baz generated a solid 15 whiffs out of his 106 total pitches to mark his third straight outing with five or more Ks. With this effort, the 25-year-old lowered his ERA from 4.97 to 4.54 through 77.1 total frames. Baz lines up to make his next start in next weekend's home series against the Tigers, who rank sixth in total runs scored.

Povich (2-5) earned the win Sunday over the Angels, allowing three hits and a walk over 3.2 scoreless innings. He struck out four.

After Scott Blewett gave up two runs in the first 2.2 innings, Povich settled things down in his first appearance out of the bullpen this season en route to his first win since April 24. It was an encouraging effort from the left-hander, after he'd given up 12 runs over 14.2 innings in his previous three starts. Overall, Povich sports a 5.15 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP and 68:23 K:BB across 64.2 innings this season. It seems likely that Povich will work behind an opener again in his next appearance, tentatively lined up for next week against the Yankees, following the positive result Sunday.

Sanchez went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and an additional run scored in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Angels.

Sanchez broke the game open, launching a grand slam off Connor Brogdon that extended Baltimore's lead to 9-2 with two outs in the seventh inning. The 32-year-old Sanchez has homered in back-to-back games following a nearly two-month stint on the IL. Overall, Sanchez has gone 6-for-37 (.162) with a .580 OPS across 43 plate appearances this year. While he'll primarily serve as Adley Rutschman's backup, Sanchez should see additional playing time at DH.

Kikuchi (2-6) took the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing five runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out 10.

The five runs charged to Kikuchi mark a season high, though he's still held opponents to three earned runs or fewer in each of his last nine outings -- the left-hander came into Sunday with a 1.97 ERA over his previous eight starts (45.2 innings). Overall, Kikuchi's ERA sits at 3.05 with a 1.48 WHIP and 78:43 K:BB across 15 starts (82.2 innings) this season. He's tentatively lined up to face the Astros at home in his next outing.

Manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Stanton (elbows) is expected to be activated from the 60-day injured list and make his season debut Monday or Tuesday against the Angels, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

After the veteran slugger went 3-for-11 with a double and four RBI in three rehab games with Double-A Somerset, he rejoined the big club Sunday for a workout at Yankee Stadium. Stanton has been on the shelf all season due to a severe case of tendinitis in both elbows, but he's finally on the cusp of his 2025 MLB debut.

GM Dana Brown said Sunday that Melton will require "at least four weeks or so" to recover from his right ankle sprain, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Melton landed on the injured list Saturday after suffering the ankle sprain Friday against the Twins, and he'll be sidelined for at least the next month. The 24-year-old could be back for the start of the second half July 18 in Seattle, assuming he can avoid any setbacks.

President of baseball operations Chris Young said Eovaldi (elbow) is "trending in the right direction" after throwing a bullpen session Saturday, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The right-hander is working his way back from triceps soreness, and the next step in his rehab program will likely be facing hitters in live batting practice. Assuming Eovaldi is able to complete a live BP without issue, he'll then be evaluated to determine whether he needs another throwing session and/or a brief rehab assignment before being activated from the 15-day injured list. The Rangers are low on rotation depth after Tyler Mahle (shoulder) was placed on the IL on Sunday, so the team could be inclined to activate Eovaldi even if he's not fully stretched back out for a typical starter's workload.

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said that Vest dealt with a pinkie injury during his relief appearance in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Reds, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports. "[The pinkie] was bothering him, so we took him out. We'll get him evaluated, and he'll run through the whole battery of tests," Hinch said.

Vest -- who leads the Tigers with 12 saves -- entered Sunday's contest with a perfect 5-0 record but ended up taking the loss after he was unable to protect Detroit's 4-2 lead in the eighth inning. He retired just two of the six batters he faced and yielded three unearned runs on three hits. After he threw a wild pitch on his 28th pitch of the afternoon, Vest motioned to the dugout for a team trainer and was taken out, but it wasn't immediately known why he was removed from the contest until Hinch clarified the matter after the game. The Tigers should have a better idea on the severity of Vest's injury prior to Tuesday's game against the Pirates, but if the right-hander is down for a few days or requires a stint on the injured list, Tommy Kahnle would likely be next in line for saves.

Canzone will start in right field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Guardians.

The Mariners will likely continue to shield the lefty-hitting Canzone from left-handed pitching, but the 27-year-old should be a regular presence in the lineup against right-handed pitching until Luke Raley (oblique) returns from the injured list. Canzone will pick up his fourth start in five games Sunday and has gone 5-for-16 with a home run, a double, two walks, a stolen base, four RBI and an additional run in five contests since being called up from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.
