The White Sox recalled Robertson from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

Just two days after being acquired from Toronto, Robertson will make his White Sox debut in left field during the nightcap of Friday's doubleheader versus Cleveland. The 27-year-old rookie is 1-for-10 with seven strikeouts in his MLB career, though he's slashed .292/.403/.578 in Triple-A this season. Tim Elko (knee) was placed on the 10-day IL in a corresponding move.

Sborz (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Sborz will finally begin his minor-league rehab assignment after progressing to throwing live batting practice June 19. It'll be his first game action since undergoing shoulder surgery last November. He's on track to rejoin the Rangers in late July.

The White Sox returned Shuster (finger) from his rehab assignment Friday and optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte, Jack Ankony of SI.com reports.

Shuster has been sidelined since June 8 with a blister on his pitching hand, but after making a trio of rehab starts, he's been activated from the 15-day injured list. However, the 26-year-old will lose his spot on the active roster and remain in Charlotte, where he completed his rehab assignment.

The Blue Jays placed Burr on the 60-day injured list Friday due to a strained right rotator cuff.

Burr exited a relief appearance Wednesday with a shoulder injury, and further testing revealed he strained his right rotator cuff. The injury will sideline him for at least two months, and he won't be eligible for activation until Sept. 10. He missed the first three months of the season with issues in the same shoulder. The Blue Jays selected Tommy Nance's contract from Triple-A Buffalo in a corresponding move.

With Ryan Burr (shoulder) headed to the 60-day IL, Nance will come up from Triple-A to fill the opening on the 40-man roster and in the Blue Jays' bullpen. The 34-year-old righty has spent the entire season in the minors, turning in a 4.88 ERA and 1.22 WHIP alongside a 42:7 K:BB over 31.1 innings. He'll likely work in middle relief while with Toronto.

Wilson (hand) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Toronto.

Wilson isn't part of the starting nine for a third consecutive game after being hit by a pitch in the left hand Tuesday. The shortstop should still be considered day-to-day. In his place, Max Muncy will bat seventh and play shortstop.

Soler isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against Arizona, Jack Janes of TheSportingTribune.com reports.

Currently enjoying a four-game hitting streak, Soler will get a chance to rest Friday against Ryne Nelson and the D-backs. Gustavo Campero will start in right field as a result and bat ninth.

Schanuel (calf) will start at first base and bat second Friday against the Diamondbacks, Jack Janes of TheSportingTribune.com reports.

Calf tightness prevented Schanuel from appearing in Thursday's contest, but the issue seems to have subsided following a day of rest. Now back in the lineup, the 23-year-old will aim to finish the first half strong after going 9-for-38 (.237) to begin the month of July.

The Angels optioned Kochanowicz to Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.

Kochanowicz was lit up during his latest outing Thursday, surrendering eight runs to the Rangers in just 2.2 innings. He'll now look to get back on track in the minors, and the Angels will bring up Jake Eder to provide some additional bullpen depth heading into the All-Star break.

Since being demoted to Triple-A in late May, Eder has registered a 7.05 ERA and 1.57 WHIP across 37 innings. Despite his recent struggles, the 26-year-old will rejoin the big-league club to provide length out of the Angels' bullpen. He replaces Jack Kochanowicz on the 26-man roster.
