Bichette went 3-for-4 with a double and a RBI during Friday's 7-1 loss to the White Sox.

Bichette has reached base safely in five consecutive contests and has a couple of three-hit games to his name over that time as well. The 27-year-old is 9-for-21 (.429 batting average) with two doubles, two home runs and five RBI during his streak. His run-producing ability out of the leadoff spot has been valuable to the team; he has 43 RBI when hitting at the top of the order this year, second behind only Shohei Ohtani in MLB.

Rutschman (abdomen) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Rutschman was a late scratch from Friday's lineup due to abdominal tightness, and he'll sit out a second consecutive game while he continues to recover. Gary Sanchez will start behind the plate and bat seventh. Per Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com, Rutschman underwent an MRI on Saturday.

Roden (knee) isn't part of the starting nine for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Roden is out of the lineup for a third consecutive contest due to right knee inflammation. Although there haven't been any updates on his status, Roden should be considered day-to-day moving forward.

Straw (ankle) will bat ninth and play center field Saturday against the White Sox.

Straw is part of the lineup for the first time since suffering a sprained ankle Tuesday. The 30-year-old outfielder is slashing .264/.294/.339 with 18 runs scored and 14 RBI in 131 plate appearances this season.

Matthews (shoulder) started playing catch Friday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Matthews was diagnosed with a moderate subscapularis strain in his right shoulder June 8 and was shut down from throwing for two weeks. He'll need to progress to throwing bullpen sessions before a clearer timeframe for his return comes into focus.

Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 win over the Pirates.

Seager got a weight off his shoulder, homering for the first time in 19 contests and the first time since returning from a hamstring injury May 28. He entered the game batting .143 with just two RBI over the previous 18 games.

Lewis (hamstring) began running Friday but hasn't started running the bases, MLB.com reports.

He'll continue running the next few days before eventually progressing to running the bases. It's not clear at this time how long he'll be out, but at least he's making progress. Lewis suffered the injury June 13 after missing five weeks to begin the season with the same injury on his left leg.

Turnbull (1-1) picked up the loss after throwing two innings, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two during Friday's 7-1 loss to the White Sox.

Turnbull got the chance to start Friday after a shoulder injury to Bowden Francis landed Francis on the injured list. It didn't go too well for the 32-year-old Turnbull, who could only make it through two innings in his third outing of the year. He's not quite stretched out as a starter currently, and after a rough performance against the White Sox, it remains to be seen how the Blue Jays will handle this spot in the rotation the next time it comes up.

Carter batted seventh and went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Friday's 6-2 win over Pittsburgh.

Carter had a brief stint at leadoff while Josh Smith was unavailable due to a hamstring issue. With Smith returning Friday, Carter was back to the second half of the order. The stolen base was his sixth in 26 games.

Misner isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Misner will get a day off Saturday after going 2-for-5 with two RBI during Friday's victory. Jose Caballero will start in center field and bat seventh while Misner rests.
