Garcia (ankle) experienced ulnar nerve symptoms in his right elbow recently and has been temporarily shut down, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Garcia is working his way back from a sprained left ankle, but his rehab will be halted due to an elbow issue. The Blue Jays medical staff will evaluate Garcia in the coming days, after which there should be more information regarding the severity of the setback.

Stanton is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Stanton will get an additional day of rest following the All-Star break. In his place, Ben Rice will DH and bat sixth. Stanton is slashing .246/.333/.449 in 78 plate appearances this season.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Goldschmidt will get some extra rest coming out of the All-Star break, taking a seat for Friday's series opener. In his place, Cody Bellinger will play first base while Trent Grisham plays center field.

Eflin (back) will continue his rehab assignment with the Orioles' rookie-level Florida League Complex squad this week, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

After tossing four innings and 58 pitches in a rehab start with Double-A Chesapake this past Sunday, Eflin will head to Florida for his second minor-league outing and will look to increase his workload. If all goes smoothly in his upcoming outing in the FCL, Eflin should be ready to return from the 15-day injured list next week to make his first start for the Orioles since June 28. His eventual return will likely bump Brandon Young out of the rotation.

Tromp (back) will begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Delmarva on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Tromp resumed baseball activities shortly before the All-Star break, and he's been cleared to see game action. The catcher has been idle since July 1 after sustaining a lower back strain. He could be back with the big club before the end of July.

Kim (foot) is batting eighth and playing shortstop Friday against Baltimore.

Kim fouled a ball off his left foot Sunday and was removed from the contest. However, X-rays came back clean, and he's been cleared to play in Tampa Bay's first game post-All-Star break. He's 5-for-22 (.227) in 2025.

Kwan isn't part of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Kwan will get an extra day of rest coming out of the All-Star break, missing the starting nine Friday for the first time since June 11. Nolan Jones will bat fifth and patrol left field while Kwan takes a seat on the bench.

Cleveland recalled Enright from Triple-A Columbus on Friday.

Paul Sewald (shoulder) was placed on the IL during the All-Star break, opening up a spot for Enright on the active roster. In 12 appearances for the Guardians this season, Enright has a 1.88 ERA and a 14:7 K:BB across 14.1 innings.

Trout said Friday he's hoping to return to the outfield "soon" but remains without a timetable, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Trout resumed outfield drills Friday for the first time since returning from the injured list May 30, but it's unclear when he'll actually see game action in the outfield. Then-manager Ron Washington said June 6 that Trout could play in right field soon, so Friday's news shouldn't be interpreted as a guarantee. Considering Trout's injury history, the Angels aren't expected to rush him into playing defense and could shut him down if his body doesn't respond well.

The Rays optioned Mead to Triple-A Durham on Friday.

The 24-year-old was called up July 11 when Brandon Lowe (oblique) was placed on the IL and will now return to Triple-A with Lowe being activated Friday. Mead has played 49 big-league games this season and has a .226/.318/.339 slash line in 132 plate appearances.
