Miller struck out one and walked one in 1.1 scoreless innings to secure the save in Thursday's 4-2 win against the Astros.

The right-hander was called upon with two outs and two on in the eighth inning, but he induced a flyout from Jose Altuve and returned for the ninth to put away Houston. Miller has converted his past six save chances and hasn't given up a run in his last 10 appearances. It's been a bit of an up-and-down campaign for the A's closer, but he still has a 3.86 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 58:18 K:BB over 37.1 innings while going 20-for-23 in save opportunities.

Severino (4-11) earned the win Thursday in Houston after striking out eight and giving up two runs on four hits and no walks over seven innings.

It's the second straight victory for Severino, who has allowed five earned runs with a 19:4 K:BB across his past three outings. Severino's 4.95 ERA through 22 starts this season isn't pretty, but he still has some streaming appeal since he's pitched to a 3.03 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across 59.1 innings on the road.

Munoz allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning to earn his 23rd save of the season in Thursday's 4-2 win against the Angels. He struck out one.

In addition to a walk and a single, a dropped third strike on what should have been a punchout helped Anaheim load the bases on Munoz, though he was able to escape the jam unscathed. The right-hander has been unscored upon in his past four appearances, but it's worth noting that he's walked four batters during that stretch. Despite blowing six saves this year, Munoz has been one of the most dominant closers in MLB with a 1.38 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 51:18 K:BB over 39 innings.

Rodriguez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Thursday's 4-2 win against the Angels.

The center fielder singled and stole second during the opening frame, then kicked off the scoring for Seattle with a solo shot in the fifth inning. It's the first extra-base hit since the All-Star break for Rodriguez, who has gone 8-for-28 (.286 average) with two RBI, three runs, three stolen bases and 11 strikeouts in the last seven games.

Kikuchi (4-7) was charged with the loss Thursday versus the Mariners after allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks across 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

The left-hander kept Seattle off the board and had a 1-0 lead through four innings, but Julio Rodriguez and Randy Arozarena went deep in the fifth to flip the script. It was just the second time this season, and first since April 26, that Kikuchi failed to last at least five frames. The 34-year-old has a 3.23 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 127:54 K:BB over 122.2 innings this season and lines up to make his next start at home versus the Rangers next week.

Evans (4-3) earned the win Thursday against the Angels after allowing one run on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out three.

Evans threw just 45 of 79 pitches for strikes and tied a season high with three walks, but he otherwise scattered a double and three singles to limit the Angels to one first-inning run. The 24-year-old picked up his first victory since May 27, though that covered only a span of five starts, as he spent most of June in the minors. Through his first 11 big-league outings, Evans has a 3.64 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 43:21 K:BB across 59.1 innings.

Barger went 1-for-4 with a walk, a triple, two runs scored and two RBI in Thursday's win over the Tigers.

His seventh-inning blast into the right-center field gap off left-hander Dietrich Enns was the first triple of Barger's career. The 25-year-old has been locked in since the All-Star break, hitting safety in six of seven games while batting .385 (10-for-26) with three extra-base hits, five runs and six RBI. Barger still sits against tougher southpaw starting pitchers, but it's getting more and more difficult for manager John Schneider to leave him off the lineup card, even in same-handed matchups.

Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI in Thursday's win over the Tigers.

The Blue Jays' $500 million man led the way in an 11-run, 15-hit barrage. It was Guerrero's third straight multi-hit performance, and over the last 15 contests he's slashing .375/.478/.500 with eight RBI and 12 runs. Despite that impressive stretch, he's still looking for his power stroke -- with 13 homers through 101 games, Guerrero's on pace to fall short of 25 over a full season for the first time.

Cobb received injections in his left hip during the All-Star break to treat inflammation as he continues to deal with pain in both hips, MLB.com reports.

Cobb has received several injections in recent months as he slowly recovers from hip issues that have sidelined him all year. The veteran righty was officially added to the injured list in February due to right hip inflammation, though his surgically repaired left hip has also been giving him problems. Cobb did complete a bullpen session Tuesday and the team is still optimistic that he could return late in the season, but his fantasy impact is likely to be minimal even if he does.

Lange (lat) made rehab appearances for Triple-A Toledo on Sunday and Wednesday, allowing a run on two hits and three walks with two strikeouts across 1.2 innings of work.

The next step in Lange's recovery from June 2024 surgery to address a right lat avulsion is to pitch in consecutive games, something he hasn't done yet in 2025. The righty is at least trending in the right direction, but given his long layoff as well as strong seasons from Detroit relievers Will Vest, Tyler Holton and Brant Hurter, Lange may have a hard time making much of an impact at the MLB level this year.
