Fairbanks earned the save in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Angels, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

After blowing his last save chance on July 30 against the Yankees, Fairbanks has responded with three straight scoreless appearances, striking out six over three innings in that span. Overall, the right-hander is 19-for-23 in save chances this year with a 2.70 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 40:15 K:BB across 43.1 innings.

Baz did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Angels, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks across four innings. He struck out nine.

After holding the Angels scoreless in his first two innings, Baz unraveled with two outs in the third, giving up an RBI single to Nolan Schanuel before Mike Trout launched a game-tying, three-run homer. While Baz has had his strikeout stuff working of late, logging 17 punchouts over nine innings in his last two starts, he's struggled to provide much length -- the right-hander has failed to make it past five innings in any of his previous four outings. Overall, Baz sports a 4.92 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP and 133:48 K:BB across 23 starts (128 innings) this season. He's currently lined up to face the A's on the road his next time out.

Gaddis recorded the final out of Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Mets to record his second save of the season.

Gavin Williams took a no-hitter into the ninth inning, only for Juan Soto to spoil it with a solo shot. After Williams then walked a batter with two outs, Gaddis got the call to close things out. Cade Smith was unavailable after having pitched the prior two days and remains the favorite for saves in the Guardians' bullpen, but Gaddis appears to be the next man up for ninth-inning duty. Since the beginning of July, Gaddis has delivered a 2.94 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 15:2 K:BB in 15.1 innings while collecting a win, two saves and five holds over 16 appearances.

Caminero went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three total RBI in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Caminero opened the scoring in the first inning with a two-run, 447-foot blast off Tyler Anderson before adding a solo shot in the third, giving him 30 home runs this year. The 22-year-old Caminero had been struggling at the plate prior to Wednesday's contest, going 6-for-41 (.146) with a .470 OPS in his previous 11 games. Still, the third baseman is slashing .253/.293/.509 with 76 RBI, 64 runs scored and five stolen bases across 464 plate appearances this season.

Williams (7-4) picked up the win in Wednesday's 4-1 victory over the Mets, allowing one run on one hit and four walks over 8.2 innings. He struck out six.

In the longest start of his career, both in terms of innings and pitches (126), Williams came two outs short of the first no-hitter in Cleveland history since Len Barker's perfect game in 1981. Juan Soto spoiled the bid with a ninth-inning solo shot to center field, however. Williams had to settle for his seventh win and 10th quality start of the season, with five of those quality starts coming in his last six trips to the mound -- a stretch in which he's posted a 1.63 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 41:17 K:BB over 38.2 innings. Williams' next outing lines up to come at home next week against the Marlins.

Bichette went 2-for-6 with a three-run homer, an RBI double and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 20-1 win over Colorado.

Bichette got Toronto's offensive outburst started Wednesday with a two-out, opposite-field blast off Kyle Freeland in the third inning, his 16th homer this year. The 27-year-old shortstop has been on a tear -- Bichette has at least one hit in seven straight games, going 14-for-33 (.424) with three homers, 12 RBI and no strikeouts in that span. Overall, he's slashing .301/.340/.475 with 78 RBI, 58 runs scored and four stolen bases across 514 plate appearances this year.

DeLuca was removed in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game against the Angels due to left hamstring tightness, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

DeLuca went 1-for-3 with a triple before being replaced by Jake Mangum in center field. DeLuca -- who has seen regular playing time in the oufield over the past week -- will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury, and the Rays should provide an update after Wednesday's contest.

Schneider went 3-for-7 with two home runs, a double and four total RBI in Wednesday's 20-1 win over the Rockies.

Schneider extended Toronto's lead to 7-1 with a solo shot off Angel Chivilli in the sixth inning before piling on in the ninth with a 454-foot, three-run blast off position-player Austin Nola. The 26-year-old Schneider has racked up four extra-base hits in his last two games after going just 4-for-20 with no extra-base knocks in his previous nine contests. Overall, Schneider is slashing a respectable .239/.368/.469 with seven homers, 21 RBI and 20 runs scored across 136 plate appearances this season.

Gausman (8-8) earned the win Wednesday over Colorado, allowing a run on three hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

After giving up a run in the first inning, Gausman settled in and blanked the Rockies over his final six frames, allowing just one additional hit. The veteran right-hander has pitched to a 2.54 ERA in his last eight outings (49.2 innings), going 3-2 with 51 strikeouts in that span. Overall, Gausman's ERA sits at 3.85 this year with a 1.08 WHIP and 135:39 K:BB through 23 starts (135.2 innings). He's currently scheduled to face the Cubs at home his next time out.

Rojas isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Seattle.

Rojas will get a breather after beginning the month 2-for-12 with a home run and two walks through four games. Brooks Baldwin will start at the hot corner instead and bat ninth.
