Reese Olson SP | DET
Tigers' Reese Olson: Given PRP injection
Olson has been given a platelet-rich plasma injection in his injured right shoulder, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Olson will not require surgery for his right shoulder strain, but he has already been ruled out for the remainder of the regular season. The hope is that the PRP injection will help speed along the healing process and give Olson a chance to return at some point during the postseason, should the Tigers make a playoff run.

Parker Meadows CF | DET
Tigers' Parker Meadows: Begins running progression
Meadows (quad) has begun a running progression, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Meadows is just over a week removed from landing on the 10-day injured list with a right quad strain, so it's a good sign that he's already been cleared to run. It's still too soon to project when he might be able to return to the Tigers' active roster, however. Matt Vierling has been seeing most of the action in center field for Detroit since Meadows was injured.

Jacob Wilson SS | ATH
Athletics' Jacob Wilson: Playing catch and running
Wilson (forearm) has been playing catch and running but has yet to be cleared for a hitting progression, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Wilson hasn't played in nearly two weeks as he recovers from a fractured left forearm. There is no timetable for the rookie shortstop's return to action, but his status should become clearer once he's ready to ramp up his hitting. With Wilson sidelined, Darell Hernaiz has been handling shortstop for the Athletics of late.

Muncy has been shelved since late July with a hairline fracture at the base of the fourth metacarpal in his right hand. The Athletics have not revealed a timetable for the infielder's return, but it would appear he's still at least a couple weeks away.
