Trevor Rogers SP | BAL
Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Continues impressive comeback
Rogers (8-2) earned the win over San Francisco on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks while striking out five batters over seven innings.
The only run Rogers allowed came on a Willy Adames home run in the first inning. The veteran southpaw was otherwise dominant, surrendering just four singles. Rogers' campaign has been among the best stories in MLB; after posting an ERA no better than 4.00 over his previous three seasons, he's at a minuscule 1.39 ERA across 14 starts spanning 90.1 innings. Per Jake Rill of MLB.com, that mark is the lowest by any Baltimore pitcher through 14 starts in a season, besting Jim Palmer's 1.51 mark in 1975.

Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: Belts decisive homer
Witt went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 3-1 victory versus Detroit on Saturday.
Witt's two-run shot in the eighth inning broke a 1-1 tie. The star shortstop extended his hitting streak to 18 games, during which he's slashing .394/.450/.577 with three home runs, 11 RBI, 17 runs and four stolen bases. While's Witt's .860 OPS on the campaign is over 100 points lower than his .977 mark last year, he's been plenty productive with an overall .299/.355/.505 slash line, 20 homers, 76 RBI, 88 runs and 34 thefts.

Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Tigers' Jack Flaherty: Rebounds with strong outing
Flaherty allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against Kansas City on Saturday.
Flaherty was crushed for eight runs over five frames against the Royals in his previous start, but he fared much better against the same offense Saturday. The right-hander gave up just one run on a solo shot by Maikel Garcia in the fourth frame and finished one out shy of a quality start. It was a fitting end to what has been a very inconsistent August for the veteran hurler -- he surrendered five-plus runs in three starts while giving up one or zero runs in each of his other three outings.

Carlos Estevez RP | KC
Royals' Carlos Estevez: Records save No. 36
Estevez earned a save against the Tigers on Saturday, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning.
Estevez had a two-run lead to work with when he entered in the ninth, and he worked around a one-out double to keep Detroit off the scoreboard. The veteran righty extended his scoreless streak to seven appearances and has now registered 11 consecutive successful conversions since his last blown save. With 36 total saves on the campaign, Estevez ranks first in the majors and has surpassed his previous career-high mark of 31.

Stephen Kolek SP | KC
Royals' Stephen Kolek: Shines in Royals debut
Kolek allowed one run on four hits and no walks while striking out three batters over six innings in a no-decision against Detroit on Saturday.
Kolek got an opportunity to start Saturday after the Royals decided to give Noah Cameron some extra rest between starts, and with Michael Wacha on paternity leave. Kolek made the most of the opportunity, limiting the Tigers to a lone fourth-inning run while needing just 71 pitches to complete six frames. Though the right-hander made a strong impression in his debut with Kansas City, it's unclear if there's room for him to get another turn in the rotation with five healthy starters in front of him.

Julio Rodriguez CF | SEA
Mariners' Julio Rodriguez: Swats two-run homer in loss
Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Guardians.
Rodriguez brought his team to within a run with an eighth-inning blast, but Seattle was unable to complete the comeback. The long ball was Rodriguez's seventh in a strong August during which he's also driven in 20 runs, stolen four bases and slashed .314/.351/.590 through 26 games. With 26 homers on the campaign, Rodriguez is within range of reaching 30 long balls for the second time in his career.

Kyle Manzardo 1B | CLE
Guardians' Kyle Manzardo: Belts big homer Saturday
Manzardo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday in a 4-3 win against Seattle.
Manzardo's sixth-inning long ball gave Cleveland a 3-0 lead and proved critical in a one-run game. It also marked the second straight contest in which the slugger has gone deep following a 13-game homer drought. Manzardo is up to 23 home runs and 60 RBI on the season while slashing .235/.316/.464 over 431 plate appearances.

Logan Gilbert SP | SEA
Mariners' Logan Gilbert: Takes loss despite quality start
Gilbert (4-6) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings in a loss to Cleveland on Saturday.
Gilbert gave up just one run over his first five innings before Kyle Manzardo tagged him for a two-run homer in the sixth. That was enough to saddle the right-hander with the loss, as Seattle wasn't able to put any runs on the board until the seventh frame. Despite the defeat, Gilbert was mostly impressive -- he racked up 15 whiffs on 93 pitches and notched his third quality start over his past four outings. He'll carry a 3.73 ERA into his next start, which is slated to come in Atlanta next week.

Taj Bradley SP | MIN
Twins' Taj Bradley: Rebounds with one-hit effort
Bradley didn't factor into the decision against the Padres on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and three walks while striking out six over five innings.
Bradley's second start with the Twins went remarkably better than his first, when he was tagged for seven earned runs in a loss to the White Sox. On Saturday, the right-hander allowed just one hit, a solo homer to Elias Diaz in the fifth, while striking out six. The effort served as an encouraging rebound and showed the potential swing-and-miss stuff Minnesota hoped to add when acquiring him at the trade deadline. Bradley will carry a 4.28 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 102:48 K:BB into his next scheduled start against the Royals, a favorable matchup given Kansas City's struggles against right-handers.

Lawrence Butler RF | ATH
Athletics' Lawrence Butler: Clubs homer Saturday
Butler went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-3 loss to the Rangers.
Butler snapped a 10-game stretch without a homer, during which he hit just .188 (6-for-32) with three RBI. The outfielder's third-inning blast got the Athletics on the board, but they were playing from behind for nearly the whole game. Butler is up to 18 long balls, 52 RBI, 71 runs scored and 17 stolen bases while slashing .229/.301/.405 over 130 contests this season.
