Zach McKinstry 2B | DET
Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Drives in two in loss
McKinstry went 2-for-3 with a walk, a triple, a run scored and two RBI in Monday's 10-8 loss to the Mets.
McKinstry continued his nice stretch at the plate, as he's now batting .323 over his last 10 games with a home run, five RBI and six runs scored. Monday's triple was the utility player's 11th of the season, which is seven more than anyone else on the team. On the year, McKinstry is now sporting a .789 OPS, which would be a new career best.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Secures 28th save
Chapman collected the save in Monday's 6-4 victory over the Guardians, pitching a clean inning with one strikeout.
The flamethrowing southpaw required only five pitches to pocket his 363rd career save. Chapman has notched 16 consecutive scoreless appearances over which he's fired 12.2 hitless frames with a 16:4 K:BB and 11 saves. The 37-year-old has reentered the discussion as one of the elite fantasy closers this season thanks to his 1.00 ERA, 0.65 WHIP and 77:14 K:BB across 54 total innings.

Chase Meidroth 2B | CHW
White Sox's Chase Meidroth: Day-to-day with sprained ankle
Meidroth is day-to-day after exiting Monday's game versus the Twins with a right ankle sprain, Kyle Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Meidroth initially remained in the game after tweaking his ankle, but he was eventually removed for a pinch runner in the eighth inning after reaching base on an error. The rookie infielder went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run before departing Monday's contest.

Wenceel Perez RF | DET
Tigers' Wenceel Perez: Blasts off Monday
Perez went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 10-8 loss to the Mets.
Perez launched a two-run home run in the third inning against New York southpaw Sean Manaea, his 12th long ball of the year, then added an RBI ground out in the eighth. The outfielder has already set a new career high in homers, and he needs just two more RBI to match the 37 RBI he tallied during the regular season as a rookie in 2024. Perez is most dangerous against lefties, as he's sporting a .979 OPS in those matchups this year, but he still has a respectable .719 OPS versus righties.

Parker Messick SP | CLE
Guardians' Parker Messick: Struggles in no-decision
Messick took a no-decision in Monday's 6-4 loss at Boston, allowing three runs on nine hits and two walks over 3.2 innings with two strikeouts.
The Cleveland rookie limited the Red Sox lineup to just one extra-base hit -- an Alex Bregman double in the first -- but was unable to find the magic of his first two appearances in this 82-pitch outing. Messick generated just two whiffs, as a Boston team that entered the day ranked fifth in total runs scored was too much to handle. Across 17.1 total innings, Messick now owns a 2.08 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 14:3 K:BB. The 24-year-old projects to face the Rays on the road this weekend for his next start.

Jahmai Jones DH | DET
Tigers' Jahmai Jones: Goes deep in four-hit game
Jones went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, two RBI and two total runs scored in Monday's 10-8 loss to the Mets.
Batting first against New York southpaw Sean Manaea, Jones continued to torment left-handed pitching with his first career four-hit game. The 28-year-old now has a .913 OPS against lefties this year, and he's hit all five of his home runs in those matchups, including one to lead off the contest Monday. Jones doesn't typically play against righties, which limits his fantasy upside, but he's worth using when he has the platoon advantage.

Bobby Seymour 1B | TB
Rays' Bob Seymour: Absent from lineup
Seymour is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners.
It's righty Luis Castillo toeing the rubber for the Mariners, but the left-handed-hitting Seymour will nonetheless begin the festivities on the bench. Yandy Diaz is handling first base and Richie Palacios will be the designated hitter for the Rays.

Hunter Feduccia C | TB
Rays' Hunter Feduccia: Sitting versus righty
Feduccia is absent from the lineup for Monday's game versus the Mariners.
Feduccia has been starting at catcher against most right-handers, but he'll begin Monday's tilt on the bench as the Mariners send righty Luis Castillo to the bump. Nick Fortes will do the catching and bat eighth.
-
Carson Williams SS | TB
Rays' Carson Williams: Exiting starting nine
Williams is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners.
Williams had started each of the previous eight tilts upon his promotion from Triple-A Durham, but he'll get a breather during Monday's series opener as he navigates through a 1-for-13 stretch at the plate. One big potential road block to Williams' playing time was cleared when Ha-Seong Kim (back) was claimed off waivers by Atlanta, increasing his chances at keeping an everyday role at shortstop even if he goes through a rough stretch at the plate. It will be Tristan Gray subbing in for Williams at shortstop Monday.

Chris Bassitt SP | BAL
Blue Jays' Chris Bassitt: Six Ks in six strong innings
Bassitt took a no-decision Monday against the Reds, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out six.
Monday represented Bassitt's first quality start since his Aug. 3 start against the Royals. The veteran right-hander has walked multiple batters in six consecutive outings, though he has fanned at least six in three straight appearances. Bassitt will take a 4.10 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 154:46 K:BB across 156 innings into his next outing, which is slated for this weekend on the road against a Yankees team with an .803 OPS since the beginning of August.
