Kahnle (1-4) allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while retiring only two batters in relief to take the loss Sunday against the White Sox.

After a rough patch earlier this summer, Kahnle had seemingly righted the ship with seven straight scoreless appearances coming into Sunday, but he took a step backward with a rough performance. The veteran righty now has a 4.80 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 54.1 innings this season, which is a far cry from the 2.11 ERA and 1.15 WHIP he posted in 42.2 regular-season innings for the Yankees last year.

Perez went 2-for-2 with a walk, two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the White Sox.

Perez is now riding an eight-game hitting streak, and this was his third multi-hit performance during the hot stretch. The 25-year-old outfielder also tallied his 38th RBI of the season Sunday, giving him a new career high in the category. Perez has already established a new career best with 12 home runs this year, and his current .816 OPS would be a new high-water mark as well, giving him plenty of momentum for the fantasy stretch run.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Narvaez will get a chance to rest after he caught the first two games of the series and went 1-for-7 with a double, walk and a run scored. Connor Wong will step in behind the plate Sunday and will form a battery with starting pitcher Brayan Bello.

Gonzalez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Gonzalez had covered first base or second base in each of Boston's last eight games, recording at least one hit in each of those contests while driving in five runs and scoring three of his own. Though Gonzalez appears to be locked in as an everyday player at this point, he'll give up his spot in the lineup Sunday to David Hamilton, who will cover the keystone and bat seventh.

Buxton was removed in the bottom of the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Royals due to a left knee contusion, Audra Martin of FanDuel Sports Network North reports. He went 1-for-2 with a solo home run prior to departing.

He also reached base in the fifth inning when he was hit in the knee by a pitch, and though Buxton was initially able to stay in the game, the Twins summoned James Outman from the bench to replace him in center field an inning later. Buxton could be subject to further testing before the Twins decide whether he'll be ready to play in Monday's series opener versus the Angels.

Suarez went 2-for-5 with a pair of homers and three total RBI in Sunday's 18-2 win over Atlanta.

Suarez extended Seattle's lead to 11-1 with his first homer in the sixth inning before launching a 411-foot blast off position player Vidal Brujan in the ninth. Suarez has homered three times in his last two contests, giving him 45 long balls this season, four shy of his career high. The third baseman is slashing .238/.309/.550 with 109 RBI and 83 runs scored across 576 plate appearances between the Mariners and Diamondbacks this year.

Rengifo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Rengifo will get the afternoon off Sunday after he started in each of the Angels' last eight contests. Chris Taylor will fill in for Rengifo at second base and will bat fifth.

Peraza will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Though he'll be covering shortstop Sunday while Zach Neto gets a rare day of rest, Peraza appears to have emerged as the Angels' everyday first baseman in the continued absence of Nolan Schanuel (wrist). Peraza occupied first base in six of the Angels' previous seven contests, going 7-for-25 (.280 average) with one home run, one double, two walks, three stolen bases, three RBI and two runs during that stretch.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that Tolle won't start Wednesday's game against the Athletics in Sacramento but could still factor into the team's pitching plan that day, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Because Tolle has typically been pitching on at least five days' rest this season and is coming off a poor showing Friday against the Diamondbacks in which he surrendered five earned runs over three innings, the rookie won't be asked to handle a traditional starting role when his turn in the rotation comes up Wednesday. The Red Sox could still use Tolle as a multi-inning reliever behind an opener Wednesday, but the 22-year-old lefty was still likely have his pitch count monitored carefully in that scenario.

Neto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Neto will be getting a rare day off in the series finale, as he had previously started in each of the Angels' last 59 contests. With Neto resting, Oswald Peraza will cover shortstop, and designated hitter Mike Trout will move from the No. 2 spot into the leadoff role.
