Martinez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Astros.

Martinez lofted a home run in the second inning and later scored as part of the Guardians' six-run eighth inning. His playing time has taken a slight hit since George Valera was activated off the injured list, but Martinez's .275/.324/.788 slash line with three home runs and 10 RBI over 71 plate appearances (22 games) keeps him relevant.

McLain went 2-for-6 with an RBI double, a stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Rays.

After a big spring training, McLain has struggled at the plate to begin the 2026 campaign. Tuesday marked his first multi-hit game since April 9, and the second baseman is still looking for his first home run. He's hit safely in three straight games now and has doubled in both contests against the Rays to begin the week. McLain is slashing .198/.330/.256 with five doubles, four RBI, 10 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 15:25 BB:K across 103 trips to the plate. He's remained in the two hole in the Cincinnati lineup despite the early-season struggles.

Cruz went 1-for-4 with a steal and a run scored during the Pirates' 5-1 loss to the Rangers on Tuesday.

Cruz showed off his speed early by stealing second base in the first inning, and after moving to third on a Danny Jansen throwing error, Cruz was brought home by an Ryan O'Hearn single to center field. Cruz is up to 10 steals (on 11 attempts) this season, tied with Nasim Nunez for second most in the majors behind Jose Ramirez (11). Cruz is off to a strong start to the 2026 season with a .897 OPS, six home runs and 19 RBI over 103 plate appearances.

De La Cruz went 3-for-6 with two home runs, five RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Rays.

De La Cruz's fingerprints were all over this offensive outburst for Cincinnati. Batting right-handed, he smacked a two-run homer off Steven Matz in the first inning. De La Cruz stole his sixth bag of the season in the sixth and later took position player Ben Williamson deep from the left side of the plate in the ninth. De La Cruz hit five homers off left-handed pitching all of last season and has already matched that total in 2026. The 24-year-old is slashing .276/.343/.571 with eight home runs, 18 RBI, 21 runs scored, six stolen bases and a 10:31 BB:K across 108 plate appearances.

Duran went 1-for-2 with an RBI double and a run scored during the Rangers' 5-1 win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Duran was not in the Rangers' starting lineup, but he was in left field for the top of the fifth inning after Wyatt Langford exited the game due to right forearm tightness. Duran contributed immediately in the fifth inning with a double that brought Josh Smith home before Duran scored on a Corey Seager RBI single. Duran could see some some starts in left field if Langford were to miss time.

McGonigle went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 12-4 loss to the Brewers.

Despite the lopsided loss, McGonigle continued to be a bright spot for the Tigers. The rookie infielder is now riding a six-game hitting streak, with the last three games all going down as multi-hit efforts. Overall, McGonigle is batting a robust .322 with a .904 OPS, and the prospect hype surrounding the 21-year-old has quickly translated into elite fantasy performance.

Holliday (wrist) exited Tuesday's rehab game at Triple-A Norfolk with right hand discomfort, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

It's the same hand Holliday fractured his hamate bone, necessitating this rehab assignment. Holliday struck out on a foul tip in the first inning and was pulled from the game following the frame. It's the second time in the last week that Holliday has experienced right hand/wrist soreness, and he just resumed his rehab assignment this past weekend. With another setback, it would be a surprise if Holliday rejoined the Orioles before the end of April. Jeremiah Jackson and Blaze Alexander will continue to see increased playing time at second base for Baltimore.

The Yankees transferred Volpe's (shoulder) rehab assignment from Double-A Somerset to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old shortstop began the rehab stint April 14 and went 4-for-11 with a walk, two stolen bases and three strikeouts in four games with Somerset. Volpe will now move up to the highest level of the minors as he enters the final stage of his rehab program after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. He should be ready to rejoin the Yankees after playing in a handful of games at Triple-A, so he should be back from the IL in the next week or two.

Brito is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Astros.

Brito's playing time has slipped a bit, as this is the third time he's been absent from the lineup over the last eight games. He's just 1-for-19 with a 1:8 BB:K over that span. Daniel Schneemann will play second base and hit sixth for the Guardians.

Winn went 2-for-3 with a triple, a sacrifice fly and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Marlins.

After homering and driving in a total of seven runs in the weekend series in Houston, Winn stayed hot at the plate in Monday's series opener in Miami. The 24-year-old entered the Astros series having slashed just .188/.339/.250 with one RBI in his first 14 contests of the season, but Winn has suddenly found his rhythm at the dish.
