Adames went 4-for-6 with one RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored in Friday's 15-8 win over the Orioles.

Adames has gone 10-for-28 (.357) across his last seven games, a span that includes a pair of two-homer performances. He's added seven RBI and two steals in that span to provide well-rounded contributions. The veteran shortstop is up to a .229/.317/.419 slash line with 24 homers, eight steals, 70 RBI, 82 runs scored, 18 doubles and two triples over 133 contests this season.

Monasterio went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during the Brewers' 7-2 win over the Blue Jays on Friday.

Monasterio supplied the game's first run in the sixth inning with a solo shot to left field off Shane Bieber. It was Monasterio's fourth home run of the season, surpassing his previous career high that he set in 2023. He's now in the midst of a nine-game hitting streak, going 11-for-29 (.379) with six runs, two homers and four RBI over that span.

Volpe went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 10-2 win over the White Sox.

Volpe delivered an RBI single in the sixth inning before following with a two-run blast in the seventh. The homer was the 24-year-old's first since Aug. 12, ending a drought in which he went 4-for-43 with 15 strikeouts over 12 games. On the season, he's slashing .209/.273/.404 with 19 home runs, 69 RBI, 59 runs scored and 16 steals across 526 plate appearances.

Swanson went 3-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI, a triple and an additional run scored in an 11-7 win over the Rockies on Friday.

It was a banner evening for Swanson, who recorded his first multi-homer effort of the year, piled up a season-high six RBI and tied his season best in hits. The veteran shortstop fell one RBI shy of matching his career high, and the two-homer outing was the 10th of his career. Swanson has put together a strong run of late, slashing .275/.322/.550 with 11 extra-base hits, 13 RBI and two stolen bases over his last 87 trips to the plate (23 games).

Lopez went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and a two-run single during Friday's 19-9 loss to the Mets.

Friday's game was out of reach for the Marlins after giving up 12 runs through the first two innings, but Lopez was able to make the result slightly more respectable with four RBI, though his two-run homer in the ninth came off of catcher Luis Torrens. Even so, Lopez's four RBI were the most of his career and brought him up to 65 RBI on the season, which is second most on the Marlins behind Kyle Stowers (73). Lopez has gone 9-for-27 (.333) with one steal, one homer and seven RBI over his last seven games.

Arias was removed from Friday's game against Seattle after getting hit on his right wrist by a pitch, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Arias had to leave the game immediately after taking a 95-mph sinker off his wrist in the second inning. The severity of his injury should be revealed after the Guardians' training staff gets a chance to evaluate him. Angel Martinez entered the game as Arias' replacement and would likely be the favorite to pick up a few starts if the latter needs to miss time.

The Rangers placed Seager (abdomen) on the 10-day injured list Friday.

Seager is expected to miss a few weeks after undergoing an appendectomy Thursday, but the veteran shortstop could return for the final games of the regular season. Dylan Moore was called up from Triple-A Round Rock to provide infield depth for the Rangers, and Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran are slated to see additional work at shortstop for as long as Seager is sidelined. If Seager doesn't return this season, he'll finish 2025 with a .271/.373/.487 slash line with three steals, 61 runs, 21 homers and 50 RBI over 445 plate appearances.

Kim (back) isn't expected to return from the 10-day injured list until at least Monday when team rosters expand to 28 players, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Kim has played just 29 major-league games this season due to multiple injuries, most recently lower-back inflammation that landed him on the 10-day IL on Aug. 21. He's eligible to return from the IL on Sunday, but the Rays will wait to bring back the 29-year-old shortstop until at least Monday. Carson Williams has played well since making his major-league debut Aug. 22, but it's unclear what his role will be once Kim has returned.

Ritter is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Cubs on Friday.

Ritter will ride the bench for a third consecutive game, despite going 10-for-34 (.294) with five RBI since returning from the 10-day IL on Aug. 15. Orlando Arcia will start at second base and bat ninth.

The Padres placed Bogaerts on the 10-day injured list Friday with a non-displaced fracture in his left foot.

Bogaerts fouled a ball off the foot during Wednesday's game in Seattle. He stayed in to finish out that contest, but testing revealed a fracture. The Padres have not yet revealed a timetable for Bogaerts' return, but the injury has the potential to knock him out for most, if not all, of the regular season. Jose Iglesias will take over as the team's primary shortstop.
