  • Padres' Jose Iglesias: Filling in for injured Cronenworth

Iglesias will start at second base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Iglesias will pick up his fifth straight start Sunday, including his fourth in a row at the keystone. He looks set to serve as the Padres' everyday second baseman until Jake Cronenworth (rib) returns from the 10-day injured list.

  • Tim Anderson 2B | LAA

Angels' Tim Anderson: Hitting bench Sunday

Anderson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Anderson will hit the bench after he had made six straight starts at either second base or shortstop while going 2-for-19 with two walks, two runs, one RBI and one stolen base. Kyren Paris will likely hold down the fort at second base while Yoan Moncada (thumb) is on the shelf, and Luis Rengifo will shift to third base, but Anderson could still see consistent playing time at shortstop ahead of Kevin Newman and Nicky Lopez.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Twins' Carlos Correa: Getting first day off

Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Correa will retreat to the bench for the first time all season after drawing 15 consecutive starts. Willi Castro will fill in at shortstop for Correa, who should be back in the lineup for the Twins' next game Monday against the Mets.

  • Trevor Story SS | BOS

Red Sox's Trevor Story: Steals another base

Story went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the White Sox.

Story is off and running to start the 2025 season and is up to six stolen bases through 16 games. He's stolen at least one bag in three consecutive games. Of course, the Red Sox expect more than a .695 OPS (three extra-base hits) from the veteran shortstop, but the steals are helpful to fantasy managers.

  • Orlando Arcia SS | MIN

Braves' Orlando Arcia: Sitting again Sunday

Arcia is not in Atlanta's starting lineup against Tampa Bay on Sunday, Lindsay Crosby of AthlonSports.com reports.

For the third time in four games, Arcia will begin the contest in the dugout while Nick Allen gets the start at shortstop and bats eighth. Arcia has gone 4-for-17 with one run scored and one RBI over his last five outings.

  • Brooks Lee SS | MIN

Twins' Brooks Lee: Returns from IL

The Twins reinstated Lee (back) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Minnesota optioned Jose Miranda to Triple-A St. Paul to open up a spot on the active roster for Lee, who began the season on the shelf while recovering from a lumbar strain. After going 4-for-13 with a walk over four rehab games between Single-A Fort Myers and St. Paul, Lee looks healthy again and could push Edouard Julien for an everyday role in the Minnesota infield. At the very least, the switch-hitting Lee will be an option to replace the left-handed-hitting Julien when the Twins face left-handed pitching.

  • Reds' Elly De La Cruz: Launches grand slam in win

De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Pirates.

De La Cruz put the Reds in front for good in the third inning with his two-out grand slam off Andrew Heaney on a 3-2 pitch. It's the third home run of the year for De La Cruz, his first since he homered twice against the Rangers on March 31. Overall, the shortstop is slashing .237/.286/.441 with 16 RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases through his first 15 games this season.

  • Willy Adames SS | SF

Giants' Willy Adames: Multi-hit effort in defeat

Adames went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored during Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.

Adames recorded his second multi-hit effort of the season after a three-game stretch in which he went 0-for-10. The 29-year-old shortstop singled in the sixth inning and came around to score his third run over his last three games. He later followed up with a double down the left-field line during the ninth. Adames is slashing .196/.270/.250 with three doubles, six RBI, a stolen base and a 6:16 BB:K across 63 plate appearances this season.

  • Bo Bichette 3B | NYM

Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Logs three hits Saturday

Bichette went 3-for-5 with an RBI single in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Orioles.

Bichette took the first pitch he saw to center field for a double, and two pitches later he came across home plate on a Vladimir Guerrero RBI double to give the Blue Jays the early lead. Saturday marked the fourth time this season that Bichette has logged at least three hits. He's begun the season slashing .313/.366/.391 with no homers or steals but six runs scored, five doubles and nine RBI across 70 plate appearances.

  • Nasim Nunez 2B | WAS

Nationals' Nasim Nunez: Recalled by Washington

The Nationals recalled Nunez from Triple-A Rochester on Saturday.

Nunez wasn't able to make the Nationals' Opening Day roster despite a strong showing in spring training, but he'll be called up to the big club following the placement of CJ Abrams (hip) on the 10-day injured list. Nunez was slashing .192/.323/.192 with five stolen bases and three RBI across 31 plate appearances in Triple-A before his promotion to the majors.
