Anderson has been placed on the 10-day injured list due to a left hamstring strain, retroactive to April 5.

Anderson has been sidelined since leaving Sunday's game against the Angels due to left hamstring tightness. The 27-year-old underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed a strain, and he'll miss additional time while he recovers. Leury Garcia should serve as the primary shortstop in his absence, and Danny Mendick was recalled from alternate camp in a corresponding move to serve as infield depth.

Crawford isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Padres, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Crawford had started each of the first five games of the season and went 2-for-18 with a solo home run and four strikeouts. Mauricio Dubon will start at shortstop Wednesday, batting eighth.

Rojas isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Rojas recorded hits in each of the past four games and went 5-for-15 with a double, three runs, two RBI and two stolen bases during that time. Jazz Chisholm will shift to shortstop while Jon Berti takes over at second base Wednesday.

Swanson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Nationals.

The shortstop connected on his first homer of the season, and only his second hit through four games, in the second inning off Max Scherzer. Swanson rang up a career-high .809 OPS last year, and while his 0:6 BB:K indicates he doesn't quite have his timing down at the plate yet, Tuesday's blast suggests there's no cause for long-term alarm.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Padres.

Crawford provided the lone run for the Giants on a solo shot to right-center field to give them an early 1-0 lead. Unfortunately, the team mustered up only three hits on the night as Yu Darvish and the Padres' bullpen were nearly untouchable. Crawford has started out the year a bit slow with just two hits in his first 19 plate appearances, but perhaps the hard contact he made Tuesday will ignite his bat.

Bichette went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Tuesday's loss to Texas.

Bichette kicked off the scoring in the contest with a 412-foot homer in the first inning off Dane Dunning, then capped Toronto's scoring in the contest with a blast to left field off Matt Bush in the eighth. The home runs were the first of the campaign for Bichette, who is slashing .250/.286/.600 through five games.

Rojas went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Cardinals.

The shortstop has collected hits in four straight games, and Tuesday's steal was already his second of the season after he managed only five in 40 games last year. Rojas has been hitting leadoff against left-handed pitchers and in the bottom half of the order against righties, but if he keeps running this often, he'll have fantasy value regardless of where he's batting.

Turner went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and a strikeout during Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Braves.

The 27-year-old's status was in question for the season opener after not being seen at Monday's workout, but he took his usual spot in the field at shortstop Tuesday for Washington. Turner took Drew Smyly deep during the third inning for the Nationals' first home run of the season.

Baez went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Brewers.

Baez and his teammates couldn't get anything going against Freddy Peralta and a pair of relievers, as the Cubs mustered just a single hit. The 28-year-old popped a home run in Monday's game, but he still has just three hits and eight strikeouts through his first 18 at-bats of the season. After a disappointing 2020 campaign, fantasy managers would certainly like to see Baez get off to a good start in 2021, but he hasn't found his groove yet.

Correa went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk during Tuesday's win over the Angels.

Correa gave the Astros the lead for good with a two-run homer off Raisel Iglesias in the ninth inning. He also walked in the fourth. The long ball was the first of the year for the 26-year-old, who is batting .280 overall.
