Seager went 4-for-5 with a double and a strikeout in a 3-2 loss to San Francisco on Friday.
In a low-scoring game without much offense, Seager was responsible for half of Los Angeles' hits as the rest of the team went a combined 4-for-34. It was the shortstop's first multi-hit game in over two weeks, dating back to Aug. 18, and snaps a recent 5-for-25 skid over his last eight games. Since returning from injury July 30, Seager is slashing .300/.383/.482 with 17 runs and 14 RBI in 31 games.

Crawford went 3-for-5 with an RBI in Friday's 3-2 win against the Dodgers.
Crawford singled in the second inning, doubled in the eighth and singled in the tenth to tie the game at 2-2. The shortstop's three hits equal his total from his last eight games, a stretch in which Crawford went 3-for-28, as he remains a key cog on a strong Giants team.

Correa went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 6-3 triumph over San Diego.
Correa was responsible for one of three hits against San Diego starter Jake Arrieta with his fourth-inning long ball to center, though that was the shortstop's only hit of the game. In connecting on the home run, Correa extended his on-base streak to 16 games, a stretch that's seen his slash line increase from .268/.361/.469 to .277/.370/.481.

Orioles' Jorge Mateo: Hits fourth homer
Mateo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Yankees.
The infielder tied the game at 2-2 with his seventh-inning blast, which was his second homer as an Oriole. Mateo is up to four long balls, 12 RBI, 18 runs scored and nine stolen bases while slashing .262/.307/.411 across 180 plate appearances this year. He's found a regular role as Baltimore's starting shortstop lately, pushing Ramon Urias to third base and Kelvin Gutierrez to the bench against southpaws.

Rojas went 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Friday's 10-3 win over the Phillies.
Rojas drew a walk and scored on Jesus Sanchez's three-run homer in the first inning. He later singled twice and drove in three runs during the Marlins' seven-run sixth inning. Over the last two games, he's gone 5-for-7 with four RBI and four runs scored. Rojas improved his season slash line to .274/.334/.411 through 455 plate appearances.

Franco (head) does not have a concussion and should return Saturday or Sunday against the Twins, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
He exited Thursday's game with a headache and was held out again Friday, but thankfully a stint on the injured list is not in the cards. Taylor Walls will likely start at shortstop if Franco needs another day off.

White Sox's Ruben Tejada: Catches on with White Sox
Tejada accepted a minor-league deal with the White Sox on Friday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
He will meet the Triple-A club in Norfolk for a weekend series. Tejada had been playing at Triple-A with the Phillies until being cut in late August. The 31-year-old hit .232/.342/.263 with Lehigh Valley.

Rojas went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Mets.
Rojas got the Marlins off to a quick start in this one, taking Carlos Carrasco deep to lead off the game. It was the eighth homer of the year for Rojas, who also singled to snap out of a 3-for-23 (.130) funk over his previous seven contests. Rojas is slashing .269/.328/.407 on the year with 36 RBI and 12 stolen bases (in 14 attempts) over 451 plate appearances.

Franco extended his on-base streak to 33 games with a seventh-inning walk, but he was replaced by Joey Wendle before running the bases. Manager Kevin Cash said after the contest Franco will be monitored for concussion symptoms and will be evaluated again Friday.
