Brady House SS | WAS
Nationals' Brady House: Hitless in big-league debut
House went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Monday's loss to the Rockies.
It was an inauspicious debut for the 22-year-old, who had hit safely in 15 straight games for Triple-A Rochester prior to his promotion while slashing .375/.420/.625. House will be given every opportunity to establish himself as the Nationals' starter at third base over the rest of the season, but the 2021 first-round pick may need some time to adjust to pitching at the highest level.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Nationals' CJ Abrams: Swipes two bags in loss
Abrams went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and two stolen bases in Monday's loss to the Rockies.
He generated the Nationals' first run of the game nearly single-handedly in the fourth inning, drawing a one-out walk, stealing second and third base and then coming home on an Amed Rosario sacrifice fly. Abrams has been dropped down to third in the batting order rather than his usual leadoff spot as manager Dave Martinez tries to shake up a struggling squad that has lost nine straight games, but the shortstop hasn't been the problem. Over the last seven contests, Abrams is batting .357 (10-for-28) with three doubles, a homer, two RBI and seven runs.

Turner also tallied another RBI on a single in the seventh to stretch his team's lead to 3-1. The 31-year-old has been carrying the Phillies' offense this month, as he's now batting .328 (19-for-58) with three homers, 13 runs scored, eight RBI and five steals across 14 June games.

The Nationals selected House's contract from Triple-A Rochester on Monday. He will start at third base and bat sixth in the Nationals' series opener versus the Rockies.
