Turner went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run Wednesday in a 6-1 victory versus Colorado.

Turner reached the 100 RBI mark for the first time in his career with a three-run homer in the fifth inning. The speedy shortstop was one of nine major-leaguers to go 20/20 this season, finishing with 21 long balls and 27 thefts. He slashed .298/.343/.466 and ranked second in the league in hits (194) behind teammate Freddie Freeman.

Tovar went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Tovar's first major-league long ball was a memorable one, as it came off future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw. The 405-foot solo shot accounted for Colorado's only run of the game and was one of the team's two hits. Tovar slashed just .212/.257/.333 over nine contests in his first major-league cup of tea, but he batted .319 with 14 homers and 17 stolen bases in the minors this season and figures to be a big part of the Rockies' future plans.

Castillo went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's win over the Cardinals.

Castillo notched an RBI double in the bottom of the fourth inning before coming around to score on a Ji Hwan Bae groundout. He later added another double in next at-bat in the sixth frame. The two-hit performance was his first since July and he finished the four-game series with the Cardinals having gone 4-for-12 with three doubles, an RBI and two runs scored. Castillo will finish the 2022 season with a .206 average, 11 homers, 29 RBI, 28 runs and a stolen base over 262 at-bats in 96 contests with the Pirates.

Edman went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, two runs and two stolen bases in Wednesday's loss to the Pirates.

Edman ripped an RBI single off Johan Oviedo in the first inning before stealing second base and coming around to score before the end of the frame. He later added two more hits, including a double, while scoring another run. The multi-hit effort was Edman's first since Sept. 17 while the stolen base was his 32nd of the year. The 27-year-old will look to repeat Wednesday's performance when the Cardinals face the Phillies on Friday in Game 1 of the Wild Card Series.

Seager isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Yankees.

Seager will remain on the bench for a second consecutive game to close out the regular season. During his first season with the Rangers, the 28-year-old slashed .245/.317/.455 with 33 homers, 91 runs, 83 RBI and three stolen bases over 151 games. Josh Smith will take over at shortstop and bat fifth Wednesday.

Franco isn't starting Wednesday against Boston, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Franco has gone 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a triple, a walk and a strikeout over the last two games, and he'll be on the bench for Wednesday's regular-season finale. Taylor Walls is taking over at shortstop and batting eighth.

Correa is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Jermaine Palacios will fill in at shortstop while Correa gets a breather in the season finale. The 28-year-old holds a $35.1 million player option for 2023, but he may prefer to try his luck on the open market after a solid first season in Minnesota in which he hit .291 with 22 home runs, 64 RBI and 70 runs.

Wendle isn't starting Wednesday against Atlanta.

Wendle started the last three games and went 4-for-13 with a run, an RBI, a walk and four strikeouts, but he'll be out of the lineup for Wednesday's season finale. Jordan Groshans is starting at the hot corner and batting seventh.

Bichette isn't starting the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

Bichette has recorded hits in seven of the last eight games, hitting .382 with a double, three runs, two RBI and a stolen base during that time. Otto Lopez will start at shortstop and bat eighth.

Abrams exited Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets with a left shoulder injury and will undergo an MRI on Wednesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Abrams went 1-for-5 with a steal across the two games before he suffered the injury on a diving attempt in the field during the nightcap. Given he has an MRI scheduled Wednesday, the 22-year-old shouldn't be expected to be available for the series finale in New York. Assuming that's the case, Abrams will finish 2022 with a .246/.280/.324 slash line, two home runs, seven stolen bases, 21 RBI and 33 runs across 302 plate appearances split between the Nationals and Padres.
