Anderson went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Anderson moved to the leadoff spot Friday as Leury Garcia (personal) was away attending the funeral services of a relative. Anderson has hit safely in seven straight games (six with multiple hits), going 14-for-32 with five doubles, two homers and four RBI.

Lindor went 2-for-6 with a solo home run and an RBI single in Friday's 6-2 win over the Twins.

Lindor opened the scoring with a solo shot off Twins starter Michael Pineda in the third inning. He later added a bases-loaded single in the 11th as part of a four-run rally. The shortstop is up to 28 homers, 66 RBI, and 85 runs scored while batting .297/.348/.536 in 564 plate appearances this season. Lindor has also added 20 stolen bases.

Gordon is not in the lineup for Friday's game at Houston, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Gordon started the last nine games and has nine hits and two steals in his last 22 at-bats, but he'll head to the bench with southpaw Framber Valdez on the mound for Houston. Shed Long will start at the keystone and bat eighth in his stead.

Crawford (hamstring) has resumed working out in the weight room but remains restricted from baseball activities, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports. "I texted with J.P. last night and he's feeling really good," manager Scott Servais said prior to Thursday's series opener with the Astros. "The initial look from Dr. Khalfayan was maybe not as severe as they originally thought. We'll see when we get back home. But I don't think it's going to be as long as the original thought."

A report earlier in the week indicated general manager Jerry Dipoto still expects a two-week absence overall for Crawford, but Servais' comments seem to indicate his shortstop may beat that timeline by at least a handful of days. In the same breath, Servais also acknowledged the Mariners have no reason to rush the shortstop back, given their lack of postseason aspirations.

Anderson went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Thursday's 7-1 win over Cleveland.

Anderson, who missed a month while dealing with a high-ankle sprain, now has enough at-bats to qualify for the AL batting title and pushed his average to a AL-high .332. Since Aug. 1, he leads MLB with 54 hits, and he has hit safely in 19 of the last 21 games. It's been a remarkable season for the shortstop, but his .393 BABIP is warning flag that he may not sustain this pace in 2020.

Bichette went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and three RBI in Thursday's loss to the Rays.

Bichette launched an opposite field home run off Austin Pruitt to leadoff the game, then hit his second long ball of the night against Matt Albers in the sixth, knotting the score at 4-4. It was his second multi-homer effort of the season en route to 10 home runs across 34 games.

Correa (back) hit in the batting cage Thursday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Correa, who has been sidelined since Aug. 20 with back soreness, said he felt no pain during Thursday's hitting session, which also included flips and tee work. The shortstop said he's taking it slow but is still hoping to return before the end of the regular season.

Chang is not in Thursday's lineup against the White Sox.

He is the nominal primary third baseman with Jose Ramirez (hand) out for the rest of the regular season, but it would not be surprising if the Indians mixed and matched at the hot corner over the final month. Mike Freeman will start at third and hit sixth.

Anderson went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored Wednesday against the Indians.

Anderson was productive throughout the game but saved his best for last, smacking a two-run homer off Brad Hand in the final frame. He now has 15 home runs on the campaign and extended his hitting streak to five games. For the season, Anderson is hitting 331/.352/.506 to go along with 16 steals across 106 games.

GM Jerry DiPoto said Wednesday that Crawford (hamstring) will be sidelined for at least two weeks, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Manager Scott Servais said Crawford tested out "pretty good strength-wise" when evaluated Tuesday, but he'll still take a couple weeks to recover from the Grade 1 right hamstring strain. The Mariners still hope the 24-year-old will be able to return for the final week of the season, though DiPoto also said, "We aren't going to push it."
