Bassitt was cleared to return to the big leagues following a two-plus month rehab from surgery to remove bone spurs from his back. He built up his pitch count to 88 (53 strikes) and induced seven groundouts, though he generated only two whiffs. Bassitt now sits at a 5.11 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 40:25 K:BB over 61.2 innings this season. He's lined up to take on the Yankees at home next week.

Jump allowed three runs on three hits and four walks while striking out one over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Friday.

Jump kept the Rangers off the board through five innings, but he ran into trouble in the sixth. Jake Burger ended Jump's outing with a one-out, three-run home run. With just a single strikeout Friday, Jump matched his season low. He's now at a 4.50 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 85:37 K:BB through 78 innings over 15 starts this season. The rookie southpaw is projected to make his next start at Kansas City.

Stock didnt factor into the decision Friday against Washington after allowing an unearned run on three hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings.

Stock bounced back nicely after struggling in his previous outing, when he allowed eight runs on nine hits and five walks across three innings in a loss to the Pirates. This time, he kept Washington without an earned run despite dealing with traffic throughout his start. The Nationals scored in the third after Francisco Lindor's error extended the inning, while Stock worked around three walks and three hits before departing with one out and two runners on in the fifth. Nate Lavender escaped that jam to keep Stock's line intact. The 36-year-old Stock lowered his ERA to 6.57, though his inability to work deep into games continues to limit his fantasy appeal. If Stock stays in the rotation, he'd make his next start at home against the Padres.

Alvarez (2-4) took the loss Friday against the Mets after allowing two runs on two hits and one walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings.

Alvarez carried a one-hit shutout into the sixth inning before New York finally broke through. A two-out homer from Francisco Lindor and a wild pitch that allowed Bo Bichette to reach first -- and eventually score -- were enough to force Alvarez from the contest. Despite taking the loss, the lefty delivered an encouraging performance, allowing just two hits while throwing 47 of his 73 pitches for strikes. The 26-year-old has now allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his last four starts, lowering his ERA to 3.72. He's lined up to make his next start on the road against the Rangers.

Glasnow (back) tossed 3.2 hitless and scoreless innings in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, walking two batters and striking out eight.

Glasnow had been slated for four innings and/or 60 total pitches; the veteran hurler didn't quite reach the innings mark, but he tossed a hearty 67 pitches (39 strikes). The right-hander looked good in yielding just one run over 4.2 frames with a 3:1 K:BB across his initial two rehab appearances, but Friday's outing was by far the best he's been since returning to game action. Glasnow is expected to log one more minor-league outing -- likely sometime next week -- before potentially being activated and returning to the big-league club's rotation.

Williams (11-7) took the loss Friday against the Padres after allowing five runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings.

Williams was handed a 3-0 lead after the first three innings but couldn't protect it. The right-hander surrendered a two-run homer to Xander Bogaerts in the fourth before Fernando Tatis took him deep to open the fifth, and he was ultimately removed following a two-run double from Luis Campusano. The rough outing was the third straight start in which he's failed to complete six innings, a stretch that has pushed his ERA from 3.55 to 3.74. He's scheduled to make his next start at home against the Giants.

Jobe (1-1) took the loss against the White Sox on Friday, allowing six runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out four across 3.2 innings. He also hit two batters.

Jobe limited Chicago to one run through three innings, but the floodgates were opened in the fourth, when he gave up home runs to Tristan Peters and Munetaka Murakami before yielding a two-run triple to Braden Montgomery. Jobe is still shaking off the rust, as Friday's start was only his second since his return from Tommy John surgery. He's lined up to face the Pirates on the road next week.

King (8-8) earned the win over Cleveland on Friday, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out four across six innings.

King fell into an early hole, allowing three runs across the first three innings, including solo homers to Nathaniel Lowe and Brayan Rocchio. San Diego's offense eventually erased the deficit, and King settled down enough to complete six frames and earn his second consecutive win. The right-hander allowed only one additional run over his final three innings, limiting the damage despite giving up a season-high eight hits. King's ERA now sits at 3.41 and he is scheduled to make his next start on the road against the Mets.

Cole (6-6) was tagged for the loss against the Blue Jays on Friday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out five across six innings.

Cole and Shane Bieber kept Friday's game scoreless through five innings, and Cole was handed a 1-0 lead after a Trent Grisham solo homer in top of the sixth. However, Cole was tagged for two runs in the bottom of the frame, one of which was unearned due to a throwing error by Luis Garcia. Unfortunately for Cole, he did not receive enough run support from his Yankees teammates to avoid the loss, ending his win streak at three starts. He'll take a 3.22 ERA and 1.08 WHIP into his next start, which is lined up for next week on the road against the Orioles.

Bieber (4-2) earned the win against the Yankees on Friday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk while striking out five across six innings.

Bieber gave up five runs in his last start Sunday against the Phillies, but he was much better in Friday's game against an AL East rival. He opened up his start by striking out two of the first three batters he faced and kept the Yankees off the board through five innings, with his lone blemish coming on a leadoff home run by Trent Grisham in the sixth. It was Bieber's third quality start of the season, and he'll take a 4.99 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 48.2 innings into his next start, which is lined up for next week on the road against the Rays.
