Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Saturday that Pushard (knee) will need "several more" rehab appearances at Triple-A Memphis before being activated from the 10-day injured list, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Pushard, who was a Rule 5 pick, has made six rehab appearances so far, allowing six runs (four earned) with a 2:3 K:BB over 6.2 innings. Marmol said that Pushard's future outings will mimic how he's expected to be used in the majors, which will likely include some multi-inning appearances. Pushard's 30-day rehab window will run out in mid-May, so the team will have to make a decision at that point whether to activate him. The 28-year-old is working his way back from right knee tendinitis.

Suarez was removed from Sunday's start against the Astros due to an apparent injury, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

The left-hander threw 70 pitches over four scoreless frames before exiting the contest, so he's likely dealing with an injury even though an official announcement has yet to be made. Suarez's availability for his next turn through the rotation will remain up in the air until more information is available.

The Padres activated Canning (Achilles) from the 15-day injured list in advance of his scheduled start Sunday against the White Sox.

Canning is ready to make his 2026 MLB debut after completing a five-outing rehab assignment, which signaled the end of his journey back from Achilles surgery last June. The right-hander built up to five innings and 68 pitches during his final rehab appearance with Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday, so he'll likely have some workload limitations in his first outing with the Padres.

The Angels placed Kikuchi on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to left shoulder inflammation.

The left-hander departed his most recent start Wednesday against the White Sox due to shoulder tightness, and he'll spend at least the next couple weeks on the shelf due to the injury. According to Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com, Kikuchi's MRI is still being evaluated, so it's possible his diagnosis is updated in the near future. It's been a rough start to the season even prior to the injury, with the 34-year-old carrying a 5.81 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 33:14 K:BB over 31 innings.

Ryan was removed from Sunday's start against the Blue Jays due to right elbow soreness, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Ryan threw just nine pitches -- recording one out and issuing a walk -- before departing. His final offering was a 90.9 mph fastball, which is down from his typical velocity. Ryan will likely undergo medical imaging, at which point there should be a better idea of his availability for his next turn through the rotation and beyond.

The nature of the injury isn't clear, but Ryan's availability for his next turn through the rotation is now in question.

Lodolo (finger) is expected to return from the 15-day injured list to start Friday's home game against the Astros, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Lodolo -- who has been on the shelf all season due to a blister on his left index finger -- made the third and final start of his rehab assignment Saturday, striking out six batters and allowing two earned runs on five hits and two walks over 4.1 innings for Triple-A Louisville. The left-hander built up to 79 pitches in the outing, so he should be ready to handle a fairly normal workload next weekend in what would be his 2026 debut for the Reds. Before the Reds lock Lodolo into their upcoming pitching schedule, he'll likely need to complete a bullpen session Monday or Tuesday without incident.

Littell is expected to pitch in bulk relief behind opener PJ Poulin in Sunday's game against the Brewers, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Poulin is expected pitch one or two innings before giving way to Littell, who will work behind an opener for the second time this season. The Nationals are hoping that the arrangement will yield better results from the veteran right-hander, who has an 8.37 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in 23.2 innings over his last five starts.

The Orioles selected Gibson's contract from Triple-A Norfolk, and he will start Sunday's game against the Yankees.

Gibson will fill the rotation spot vacated by Trevor Rogers, who recently landed on the injured list due to an illness. The 23-year-old righty is one of the organization's top prospects and has a 4.01 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 25:12 K:BB across 24.2 innings to begin the season with Norfolk. Gibson is likely in line for just one start with the Orioles, but a strong debut could give himself a chance of getting a longer look in the majors.

Bello is scheduled to make his next turn through the rotation Tuesday in Detroit, but Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy acknowledged that the right-hander could work behind an opener, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Tracy noted that he's already met with Bello to discuss the idea of using him out of the bullpen, something that the 26-year-old has done on just three occasions since reaching the majors in 2022. Regardless of how the Red Sox elect to use him Tuesday, Bello may need to show improved results to maintain his spot in the rotation. Over his last three starts, he's gone 0-3 with a 13.09 ERA, 2.73 WHIP and 8:6 K:BB across 11 innings.
