Ritchie is set to join Atlanta after he was scratched from his scheduled start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday, Lindsay Crosby of BravesToday.com reports.

Crosby relays that Ritchie joining Atlanta's 26-man roster will likely correspond with Bryce Elder being placed on the 15-day injured list after the latter's turn in the rotation was skipped due to arm fatigue. Ritchie has split his time between the majors and Triple-A this season, and across eight appearances (seven starts) with Atlanta, he has a 1-2 record with a 4.87 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 37:25 K:BB across 40.2 innings.

The Reds activated Greene (elbow) from the 60-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start against the Orioles on Saturday.

Greene is finally ready to make his 2026 debut after fully recovering from arthroscopic surgery in mid-March to remove bone chips in his right elbow. The 26-year-old right-hander is looking to build off a strong 2025 regular season, when he went 7-4 across 19 starts with a 2.76 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 132:26 K:BB across 107.2 innings. In corresponding moves, right-hander Chase Petty was optioned to Triple-A Louisville and outfielder Will Benson was designated for assignment.

Rocker had his scheduled start pushed to Sunday against the Tigers, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Cal Quantrill will now serve as the Rangers' starter Saturday while Rocker takes the mound for Sunday's series finale. Rocker is coming off a quality start against the Blue Jays this past Sunday and has a 3.02 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 43:18 K:BB over his last nine starts (47.2 innings).

Left-hander Wandy Peralta and not Canning will be the Padres' starter against the Dodgers on Saturday.

Canning was originally slated to start Saturday, but he'll now serve in a piggyback role after Peralta tosses one or two innings to open the contest, per Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Canning has struggled on the mound this season with a 7.09 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 46:28 K:BB across 47 innings in 11 appearances (nine starts).

Sullivan will start for the Rockies against the Giants on Saturday.

Sullivan is currently with Triple-A Albuquerque but will be recalled by Rockies to serve as the big club's starter Saturday after Tomoyuki Sugano was scratched due to back spasms. Sullivan has started in four major-league games this season, posting an 0-2 record with an 8.64 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 12:9 K:BB across 16.2 innings. He hasn't been much better in Triple-A, logging a 5.76 ERA and 1.57 WHIP over 54.2 innings (11 starts).

Sugano will no longer start against the Giants on Saturday due to back spasms.

Sugano was initially given the green light to start Saturday after developing a finger injury in his last outing against the Twins on June 26, when he allowed seven runs on eight hits -- including two home runs -- and one walk while striking out two across five innings. However, he's now dealing with back spasms that will sideline him for Saturday's contest, and it's unclear whether he'll make another turn in the rotation before the All-Star break. In Sugano's absence, the Rockies are expected to recall southpaw Sean Sullivan, who will fill in as Colorado's starter Saturday.

Scherzer (back) threw three innings in a rehab start for High-A Vancouver on Friday, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks while striking out three.

In his first game action since June 10, Scherzer built up to 49 pitches (33 strikes) and reportedly felt good afterward, per Doug Miller of MLB.com. The 41-year-old righty has dealt with a litany of injuries this season, most recently back spasms, and he's expected to need at least two more rehab starts before he'll be an option again for the Toronto rotation. Over six big-league outings and 22 innings this season, Scherzer has produced an ugly 10.23 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 14:11 K:BB.

Early (elbow) will seek a second opinion, MLB.com reports.

Early underwent an MRI earlier this week, which revealed posterior elbow inflammation, but the left-hander wants to confirm that. The Red Sox placed him on the 15-day injured list after he exited a start against the Nationals after tossing four scoreless innings.

Detmers (3-6) was charged with the loss Friday against the Red Sox after allowing five runs on seven hits and three walks across five innings, striking out five.

Detmers has struck out at least five in back-to-back games for the first time since doing so in six consecutive starts between May 13 and June 10, but there isn't much more to highlight from this outing. He's now given up at least five runs in two of his last three starts, and the 26-year-old southpaw has been trending in the wrong direction of late. Still, Detmers owns a 3.19 ERA and 0.98 WHIP in six starts since the beginning of June, and he'll aim to bounce back when he takes the ball in his next start against the Rangers on the road.

Bennett (3-3) earned the win against the Angels on Friday, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out six over 7.2 innings. He also tossed a wild pitch but did not walk a batter.

This was Bennett's longest outing of the season, and he came just four outs shy of tossing a complete game, though by the time he left the mound, he was already at 92 pitches (61 strikes). Bennett has been pitching very well of late, and this was his fourth consecutive outing allowing two earned runs or fewer. He owns a 1.78 ERA and 0.67 WHIP across 25.1 innings over that stretch, and he's slated to make his next start on the road against the White Sox.
