Rodriguez gave up two runs on six hits and no walks in five innings before Friday's game against the Reds was suspended at 3-3 in the seventh inning. He struck out three.

Rodriguez worked rather efficiently in his first MLB start since May 14, throwing 48 of his 72 pitches for strikes while not issuing a free pass for only the second time in 2025. While he matched his second-lowest strikeout total of the year, the 32-year-old southpaw tossed at least five innings while yielding two runs or fewer for the third time over his 10 outings. Rodriguez has a strong 55:18 K:BB through 49.2 innings, but his 6.70 ERA and 1.65 WHIP leave a lot to be desired. He'll look to improve his ratios his next time out versus the Mariners next week.

Patrick (3-5) took the loss Friday against the Padres after giving up one run on four hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out six.

It was a strong performance from Patrick, who registered 11 whiffs and fanned at least six in his fourth consecutive start. Friday also marked the rookie right-hander's fifth quality start of the campaign. Brandon Woodruff (elbow) has been pulled off his rehab assignment, which appears to have bought Patrick even more more time to cement his stay in Milwaukee's rotation. Patrick will take an excellent 2.84 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 63:21 K:BB over 69.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance versus Atlanta.

Vasquez didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Brewers after giving up two hits and four walks in 4.2 scoreless innings. He struck out two.

Vasquez had worked three hitless innings to begin the outing, but his lack of efficiency prevented him from getting deeper into the game. Just 40 of his 78 pitches landed for strikes, and the 26-year-old right-hander failed to reach the fifth inning for the sixth time in 13 appearances this year. Vasquez's 3.69 ERA on the season remains respectable, but his 37:34 K:BB and 4.8 walks per nine innings over 63.1 frames remain major impediments to his fantasy appeal. He won't be a recommended streamer versus the Dodgers his next time out.

Senga didn't factor into the decision against the Rockies on Friday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out six across six innings.

It was another dominant start for Senga, who generated 22 whiffs on 109 pitches (67 strikes). He faced the minimum in three of the first four innings, and his only blemish was a Mickey Moniak solo homer in the third. This was Senga's sixth quality start of the season, and his 1.59 ERA (across 68 innings) is best in the National League among qualified starters. He's in line to make his next start against the Nationals at home next week.

Wrobleski (1-2) took the loss against the Cardinals on Friday, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out five across six innings.

Wrobleski made his second major-league start of the season Friday after being promoted from Triple-A Oklahoma City. He gave up two runs in the second and fifth frames -- including a two-run shot to Pedro Pages -- and the 24-year-old southpaw wasn't able to get any run support to avoid the loss. Wrobleski gave up eight runs in his 2025 debut against the Nationals on April 8, but he has posted a 3.60 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 10 innings across his last two outings. He's tentatively slated to face the Padres on the road next week.

Gray (7-1) earned the win against the Dodgers on Friday, allowing eight hits while striking out five across 6.1 scoreless frames. He did not issue a walk.

Gray yielded at least two baserunners in three of the seven innings he pitched, but he maneuvered out of trouble without allowing a run. He generated 16 whiffs and 19 first-pitch strikes on 90 pitches (63 strikes) while inducing seven grounders. Gray has not given up a run over his last two starts and sports a 3.35 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 75.1 innings this season, and his 81 strikeouts rank ninth in the National League. He's lined up to face the Brewers on the road next week.

Cabrera (2-2) took the loss Friday as the Marlins were downed 4-3 by the Rays, giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander got lifted after only 63 pitches (41 strikes), his lightest workload of the season. While the early hook was unusual, Cabrera's inefficiency remains the biggest obstacle to a true breakout as he has yet to complete six innings in any of his 10 trips to the mound. He'll take a 3.99 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 53:21 K:BB through 49.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come on the road next weekend against the Nationals.

Brown (3-4) took the loss against the Tigers on Friday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over seven innings.

Brown generated 15 whiffs on 92 pitches and held his own against Tarik Skubal before surrendering a solo homer in the sixth inning. It marked the 25-year-old's first quality start since May 2, and he's now allowed just two earned runs over 13 frames in his past two outings. He'll carry a 5.37 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 78:20 K:BB across 63.2 innings into another tough matchup with the Phillies next week.

Burnes (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery next week, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.

Burnes landed on the injured list Tuesday due to inflammation in his right elbow, and after receiving multiple opinions on his injury, he'll elect to go under the knife to address the issue. His surgery will put an abrupt end to his 2025 season, and he'll finish the year with a 2.66 ERA and 1.17 WHIP alongside a 63:26 K:BB across 64.1 innings (11 starts). He's likely to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 campaign as well.

Rodriguez (shoulder) has been reinstated from the 15-day injured list and will start Friday's game against the Reds.

As expected, Rodriguez will take the mound Friday, marking his first start since May 14 after he dealt with inflammation in his throwing shoulder. Rodriguez owns a 7.05 ERA and 1.70 WHIP over 44.2 innings this season. Tommy Henry was optioned to Triple-A Reno in a corresponding move.
