Rogers (3-1) allowed six hits over six shutout innings Monday, striking out seven batters and earning a win over Milwaukee.

The Brewers had a few chances to score on Rogers early in the game but he induced a double play in each of the first three innings. The 6-foot-5 southpaw has now tossed 13 shutout innings with a 15:1 K:BB over his last two starts. He'll carry a strong 1.29 season ERA into Saturday's start in Washington.

Davies allowed five runs on six hits across 3.2 innings and did not factor into the decision Monday against Atlanta. He walked four and struck out four.

Davies probably deserved his third loss of the season, but Atlanta starter Charlie Morton also allowed five runs, taking Davies off the hook. Other than not taking the loss, it was otherwise another poor performance for the righty, who has an abysmal 9.47 ERA after five starts. It's a far cry from the 2.73 ERA Davies posted in 2020, and considering he's part of the return Chicago received for Yu Darvish, he'll need to pitch a lot better to endear himself to Cubs fans and fantasy managers. He'll look to turn things around in his next outing, which is scheduled for Saturday against the Reds.

Wheeler (2-2) allowed one run on one hit and three walks over eight innings Monday, striking out nine and earning a win over the Cardinals.

Wheeler made it through eight scoreless innings and never let a runner beyond first base. He then walked Matt Carpenter to begin the ninth and was charged with the run when he came around to score with Hector Neris on the mound. The 30-year-old tossed 73 of his 114 pitches for strikes and improved to 2-2 on the year while lowering his ERA to 3.13. Wheeler will take on the Mets at home Saturday.

Wainright (0-3) fired a complete game Monday, allowing two runs on six hits and taking the loss against Philadelphia. He struck out eight across nine innings.

Wainwright kept the Phillies off the board for the first six innings, letting just three runners on base and inducing two double plays. He coughed up a solo shot to Rhys Hoskins in the seventh to break the 0-0 tie and later served up a ninth-inning blast to Hoskins. The 39-year-old righty took the unfortunate loss but lowered his season ERA to 4.08 across 28.2 innings. Wainwright will take the mound in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Cueto (lat) won't be able to return until May 9 at the earliest, Mark W. Sanchez of KNBR 680 San Francisco reports.

Cueto was originally expected to miss two starts when he landed on the injured list with a lat strain in mid-April. His new timeline means he'll miss at least four. He's expected to advance to live batting practice next week.

Fried (hamstring) could be activated during Atlanta's early-May series in Washington, which runs from May 4 to May 6, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Fried has been out since April 13 due to a right hamstring strain. He threw off a mound Monday and will throw live batting practice later in the week, with an eye towards returning during the series against the Nationals if he gets through those sessions without setbacks.

Falter was sent back to the team's alternate site Monday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Falter got to make his major-league debut Sunday but had to do so at Coors Field. He gave up two runs on four hits in two innings of work. He could be back up when the Phillies need another lefty later in the season but will make way for Jose Alvarado, who returned from the COVID-19 injured list in a corresponding move.

Fried (hamstring) threw live batting practice Monday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Fried has been out for just shy of two weeks with a strained right hamstring. Atlanta has yet to announce when he'll be activated, but it's possible he returns over the weekend against the Blue Jays. With that series being played in an American League park, Fried wouldn't have to worry about aggravating his hamstring issue while running the bases.

The southpaw is making progress in his recovery from a hamstring strain, but as yet there's no timetable for Fried's return to the rotation. As he's already been sidelined for two weeks, he'll need some time to ramp back up even after he's 100 percent healthy, and Atlanta won't want to risk Fried aggravating the injury by rushing him back.

Webb (1-1) pitched seven scoreless innings in a win over the Marlins on Sunday. He allowed just three hits while also walking three and striking out eight.

Webb contributed on both sides of the baseball Sunday, as he gave himself some run support with a two-run triple in the second inning to put the Giants up 3-0. The 24-year-old was dominant on the mound too. He was able to work around three hits and three walks by prompting three double-plays and also tied his career-high in punchouts with eight. He'll look to keep things rolling in his next scheduled start against the Padres on Saturday.
