Sanchez was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday and could start against the Red Sox, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Sanchez was recalled after four Philadelphia pitchers were placed on the COVID-19 related injured list. Among those players was Aaron Nola, who was scheduled to start Sunday. Though no plans have been made official by the team, Sanchez served as a starter for Triple-A Lehigh Valley and is on regular rest. He's posted a 4.46 ERA and 1.47 WHIP in the minors this season, while also managing a 44:26 K:BB across 38.1 innings.

Falter was placed on the COVID-19 injured list prior to Sunday's game against Boston.

Falter is among four Phillies that landed on the COVID-19 list Sunday, a list that also included Sunday's probable starting pitcher Aaron Nola. It's not clear at this point if Falter tested positive for the virus or if he's out because of health and safety protocols. The southpaw's post All-Star-break status should become clearer as the week progresses.

Gutierrez didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Brewers after tossing six innings of one-run ball, allowing five hits and two walks.

Gutierrez didn't strike out anyone, but he still delivered a strong outing -- he's now gone at least six innings in each of his last two appearances. He has made nine starts this season and five of those have been quality starts. He's posted a decent 4.29 ERA across 50.1 innings.

Nola will not start Sunday's game against Boston and will be placed on the COVID-19 injured list, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Nola was slated to make his final start before the All-Star break but is among a number of Phillies who have been affected by COVID-19 protocols. It's unclear when Nola may be able to return, or whether his absence is caused by a positive test or contact-tracing protocol.

Gallen (hamstring) threw a 44-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Gallen threw his second bullpen session within a week of being placed on the 10-day injured list, which suggests he could return when eligible. With the All-Star break coming up, the right-hander could throw another bullpen or get a rehab start this week.

Megill did not factor in the decision in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against Pittsburgh. He completed 3.2 innings, allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out seven.

The combination of hits and walks drove Megill's pitch count up to 85, resulting in a moderately early exit and preventing him from qualifying for the win. Still, it was another impressive performance from the right-hander, as he struck out seven batters for the second straight start and surrendered only one run. Megill has posted a 3.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 26:9 K:BB across his first 18 major-league frames, and he continues to make a strong case to stick in the rotation throughout the second half of the campaign.

Musgrove (5-7) took the loss in Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Colorado, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts in 4.1 innings.

A fifth-inning error by Eric Hosmer led to a Charlie Blackmon bases-loaded single that gave the Rockies a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The veteran right-hander's losing record is belied by an impressive sub-3.00 ERA (2.93) and 116:25 K:BB, and he'll look to get back in the win column when he likely makes his first start of the season's second half at some point during next weekend's series against the Nationals.

Marquez (8-6) won Saturday's 3-0 victory against San Diego, allowing no runs on three hits and a walk with nine strikeouts.

Marquez continued his scorching summer by allowing just four baserunners and zero runs with nine strikeouts against a formidable Padres lineup. Colorado's ace has now surrendered just 18 baserunners in his last 36 innings over five starts. He lowered his ERA to 3.36 with the successful outing.

Buehler (9-1) won Saturday's 22-1 victory over Arizona, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks with six strikeouts in six innings.

Buehler was staked to a nine-run lead after two innings and cruised to an easy ninth victory. His most troublesome inning was actually the first, but a five spot by Los Angeles in the bottom of the inning eased all concerns. The 26-year-old heads into the All-Star break with a 2.36 ERA and a 26:114 K:BB ratio.

Gray continued to get stretched out during his start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, as he allowed one hit across four scoreless innings. He fanned four and did not walk a batter while tossing 53 pitches.

The Dodgers said earlier in the week that Gray would have to get stretched out to pitch around five innings and/or 75 pitches before he's considered an option to join the big-league rotation. Saturday's performance marks a big step toward achieving that milestone, as the right-hander now figures to require at most one more outing in Triple-A to get his arm where the Dodgers want it. Gray's presence could be needed in the majors at some point in the near future with Clayton Kershaw (forearm) and Trevor Bauer (not injury related) currently sidelined.
