Woodruff (9-8) allowed four runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings Monday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Woodruff was cursed by the long ball Monday with all four runs scoring via homers. He allowed a two-run shot to Bryce Harper in the first inning and solo home runs by Freddy Galvis and Brad Miller in the second and fourth frames. He's now 2-5 with a 3.47 ERA and a 72:17 K:BB over his last 11 starts. Woodruff will carry a 2.48 ERA into his projected start in Cleveland this weekend.

Wheeler (12-9) allowed five hits over six scoreless frames Monday, striking out nine and earning a win over the Brewers.

Wheeler scattered five singles across six innings and never faced much of a threat in Monday's dominant victory. He entered the game in a hard skid, coughing up 19 earned runs across 26.2 innings (6.41 ERA) in four outings since tossing a complete game shutout on Aug. 8. Wheeler lowered his season ERA back down to 2.91 with a 217:40 K:BB through 28 starts. The 6-foot-4 righty is projected to face the Rockies at home this weekend.

Mikolas (0-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out three in five innings as he took the loss Monday versus the Dodgers.

The 33-year-old allowed five batters to reach base in the first inning, leading to four of the runs against him. St. Louis wasn't able to muster much offense against Dodgers ace Max Scherzer, leaving Mikolas with his second loss in five starts this year. He's posted a 5.06 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 17:7 K:BB through 21.1 innings. The veteran right-hander is on track for another home start this weekend versus Cincinnati.

Rutledge (finger) made his return from Low-A Fredericksburg's 7-day injured list Aug. 31 and started Thursday for the affiliate, working 1.1 innings while giving up six runs (four earned) on four hits and one walk.

Rutledge was back in action after a blister on his pitching hand had kept him sidelined since Aug. 10. The 22-year-old has endured a rough season between his stops at three minor-league affiliates, posting a collective 10.08 ERA and 1.96 WHIP across 25 innings.

Corbin didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 4-3 win over the Mets, allowing three runs on 11 hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out four.

The lefty threw 114 pitches (73 strikes) in his 10th quality start of the season, but Corbin exited on the hook for his 15th loss until the Nats rallied in the ninth inning. It's only the second time in 10 starts since the All-Star break he's given up fewer than four runs, and Corbin will carry a 6.14 ERA and 118:48 K:BB through 148 innings into his next outing.

Gonsolin (shoulder) could be activated from the 10-day injured list to start or work as primary pitcher Thursday against the Cardinals or Friday against the Padres, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

When he met with the media Monday, Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts said Gonsolin "will be activated soon," after the right-hander checked out fine following his 41-pitch rehab start Saturday with High-A Rancho Cucamonga. Assuming Gonsolin is kept on a normal four-day rest schedule, he would be an option to take the hill for the Dodgers' series finale Thursday in St. Louis, if Roberts want to give Julio Urias an additional day of rest between starts. In the event the Dodgers prefer to keep Urias on a normal starting schedule, Gonsolin would likely throw a simulated game or make another rehab appearance this weekend before making his return from the 10-day injured list at some point next week. Gonsolin has been sidelined since July 31 with right shoulder inflammation.

Williams didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Nationals, allowing two runs on 10 hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.

The Nats had at least one runner in scoring position in every inning against Williams, but the right-hander avoided any big rallies and was actually in line for a win when the Mets grabbed a 3-2 lead in the top of the sixth inning while he was still the pitcher of record. Unfortunately, Edwin Diaz blew the save in the ninth. Williams has a remarkable 1.50 ERA through 24.1 innings since joining the Mets in August to fill a swingman role, but his 1.33 WHIP and 12:6 K:BB over that stretch highlight how lucky he's been for his new club.

Rockies manager Bud Black said Gray (forearm) is expected to return from the 10-day injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Giants in Colorado, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Gray was moved to the injured list Sept. 1 with right forearm tightness, but he looks like he'll end up missing the minimum amount of the time due to the injury. He checked out fine after completing a simulated game Saturday, and assuming he comes out of a bullpen session Monday without any further setbacks, he should be on track to reclaim his rotation spot by the middle of the week. Ryan Feltner, who made a spot start in Sunday's loss to Atlanta, will likely move to the bullpen to clear room in the rotation for Gray.

Kershaw (forearm) could rejoin the major-league rotation this weekend, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Kershaw will toss three innings in his first rehab start at Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, and manager Dave Roberts revealed that the southpaw will rejoin the Dodgers' rotation for his next start if he feels good following his three-inning Triple-A outing. Kershaw will tentatively line up to start Sunday against the Padres, assuming Tuesday's Triple-A start goes as planned.

Overton was claimed off waivers by the Pirates on Monday, Jamie Campbell of Sportsnet reports.

Overton was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Friday, but he'll land a spot on Pittsburgh's 40-man roster after he tossed 6.2 scoreless innings across four appearances in the big leagues this year. The right-hander has spent most of the season with the Triple-A club and has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
