Peterson is listed as the Mets' scheduled starting pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Brewers in New York.

Peterson's role became uncertain last week following Tylor Megill's (biceps) return from the 10-day injured list, which meant that either Peterson or Trevor Williams would lose out on a rotation spot. Both Peterson and Williams appeared out of the bullpen in the weekend series with the Angels while the Mets temporarily got by with a four-man rotation, but Peterson looks like he'll end up sticking as the No. 5 starter over Williams, who isn't included on the team's upcoming pitching schedule. Through his eight appearances (six starts) with the big club this season covering 36 frames, Peterson has generated a 3.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 32:18 K:BB.

Lopez (wrist) is listed as the Marlins' scheduled starting pitcher for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia.

Lopez's 12th start of the season Friday against the Astros was his second-shortest outing of the season, as he was pulled midway through the fifth inning after getting struck by a comebacker on the right wrist. He was diagnosed with a contusion following his departure, but his inclusion on the Marlins' upcoming pitching schedule suggests he was able to complete his between-starts bullpen session Sunday without incident. Lopez will carry a 4-2 record, 2.30 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 72:19 K:BB over 70.1 innings into Wednesday's game.

Walker (4-2) earned the win during Sunday's 4-1 victory over the Angels, allowing one run on six hits and one walk with 10 strikeouts in six innings.

Walker surrendered one run on four hits in the first inning but settled down thereafter to quiet Los Angeles' offense and New York eventually rallied to end Walker's losing streak at two. Prior to Sunday's start, Walker hadn't struck out more than six in a game and was averaging just 4.8 K/9. The 29-year-old carries a 3.08 ERA and 1.25 WHIP into his next start, scheduled for next weekend against Miami.

Quintana (1-4) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against Atlanta.

Quintana coughed up three home runs in the loss, including a pair from Adam Duvall. He's allowed eight runs over his last two starts, raising his season ERA from 2.68 to 3.53 in the process. Quintana had given up just two homers this season entering Sunday's game, and he'd gone seven straight starts without allowing one. He'll look to get back on track in his projected home outing against the Giants next week.

Snell didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's 4-2 loss to Colorado, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in six innings.

Snell retired 12 of 13 Rockies in the first, second, third and sixth innings but struggled in the fourth and fifth, surrendering a combined seven baserunners and two runs in both frames. Through five starts, the 29-year-old possesses a 5.04 ERA and 1.36 WHIP with 29 strikeouts with 13 walks in 25 innings. Snell will go for his first win with a rematch against German Marquez and the Rockies scheduled for next weekend.

Wright (7-3) yielded three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Pirates.

Wright allowed just one run through four innings before serving up a two-run homer to Bryan Reynolds in the fifth. He's picked up a win in three straight outings while posting four consecutive quality starts; the 26-year-old is sporting a 2.70 ERA during that stretch. On the year, Wright owns a strong 80:25 K:BB with a 2.57 ERA through 73.2 frames. He's lined up to face the Cubs in Chicago next week.

Marquez (3-5) earned the win during Sunday's 4-2 victory over San Diego, allowing two runs on six hits with six strikeouts in seven innings.

Marquez faced the minimum through four innings but allowed a single run in both the fifth and seventh innings and departed with game knotted 2-2. Colorado rallied to plate two runs in the eighth to give Marquez his second straight victory. The 27-year-old has now posted consecutive quality starts, though his 6.09 ERA still ranks second-worst out of 62 qualified starters. He'll look to keep the momentum rolling with a rematch against San Diego on tap for next weekend.

Alexander allowed one run on seven hits and three walks over 4.2 innings in Sunday's win over Washington. He struck out two and did not factor in the decision.

Alexander escaped a few jams before the Nationals finally broke through in the fifth inning with Josh Bell's RBI sacrifice fly that knocked Alexander from the game. He's now allowed two or fewer earned runs in each of his first three MLB starts. The 29-year-old is sporting a 2.16 ERA with a lackluster 6:8 K:BB through 16.2 frames. Alexander is expected to start in Cincinnati next week.

Suarez (4-4) allowed four runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks over 4.1 innings Sunday, striking out two and taking a loss against Arizona.

Suarez coughed up three runs in the first inning, but he then settled in to throw three scoreless frames. The 26-year-old was then knocked out of the contest in the fifth inning after Christian Walker's RBI double. After going 3-1 with a 3.72 ERA through his first seven starts, Suarez is 0-3 with a 5.48 ERA over his last five outings. He's projected to take the mound in Washington next week.

Rodon (5-4) allowed two hits and three walks while striking out eight over six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Dodgers.

This was the second time Rodon's kept runs off the board in his 12 starts this season, and he hadn't recorded eight or more strikeouts since May 9. The 29-year-old threw 64 of his 98 pitches for strikes and efficiently limited the Dodgers' chances to generate offense. Rodon has a 3.18 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83:25 K:BB through 65 innings in 12 starts. He'll look to build off of this start next weekend in Pittsburgh.
