Wheeler (forearm) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Wheeler threw two simulated innings Friday, and interim manager Rob Thomson confirmed Saturday that the right-hander will rejoin the Phillies' rotation Wednesday. The 32-year-old will presumably be on a pitch count against Toronto, with interim manager Rob Thomson noting that Noah Syndergaard will piggyback Wheeler for the right-hander's next two turns through the rotation, according to Coffey.

Megill (shoulder) will be reinstated from the 60-day injured list Monday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Megill returned to the Mets' clubhouse Saturday after concluding his rehab assignment, but the team will wait a few days before activating him. Over six relief appearances in September, he allowed six runs on five hits and three walks while striking out nine in 5.2 innings during his rehab assignment. Once he's officially activated, the 27-year-old will pitch out of the Mets' bullpen.

Farrell cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Farrell was designated for assignment by Cincinnati on Thursday and will choose to accept an outright assignment rather than testing free agency. He made 17 appearances (11 starts) at Triple-A Iowa earlier this year and posted a 5.03 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 59 innings.

Anderson was placed on the paternity list Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Anderson has been productive recently, posting a 1.94 ERA and 1.01 WHIP in 46.1 innings over his last seven starts. He'll be away from the team for 1-3 days following the birth of his child, but he'll likely be able to return to the mound early next week. Andre Jackson was called up to take Anderson's spot on the active roster.

Rogers exited Saturday's start against the Nationals in the bottom of the second inning due to an apparent injury, Andrew Golden of the Washington Post reports.

Rogers allowed two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out one in one inning to begin Saturday's matchup, and he exited after throwing just 32 pitches. The exact nature and severity of his injury aren't yet clear, and whether he's able to make his next turn through the rotation remains to be seen.

Houser gave up five runs (four earned) on seven hits and four walks while striking out one over three innings in a 7-6 victory over the Yankees on Friday. He did not factor into the decision.

Houser looked overwhelmed in his 19th start of the year. He repeatedly nibbled around the outside of the zone and opted to put men on base rather than attacking hitters. The four walks that he issued give him 43 free passes in 94.2 innings pitched this season with only 66 strikeouts. The K/BB of 1.5 he has this season is the lowest rate of his four-year career as a starter. Houser is tentatively expected to face the Mets in another tough matchup next week.

Gonsolin (forearm) is encouraged by his recent progress and will throw a bullpen session Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gonsolin's recovery from a right forearm strain has been slower than initially expected, but the All-Star hurler appears to be turning a corner. Saturday's bullpen will mark his third over the past seven days, and Gonsolin indicated that his forearm is responding much better after he throws than it did when he was initially shelved. The right-hander also had a conversation with manager Dave Roberts and indicated that he's comfortable with any role he's asked to fill after returning. Given the lack of time left in the regular season and the fact that Gonsolin hasn't thrown in a game since Aug. 23, that may mean that he'll be used out of the bullpen upon his activation from the injured list.

Flaherty allowed four runs on six hits, two walks and two hit batsmen while striking out five over five innings versus the Reds on Friday. He did not factor in the decision.

Flaherty was able to avoid yielding a home run for the second time in three starts since returning from a shoulder injury. It still wasn't a sharp start, and he's now allowed 18 hits and seven walks while plunking three batters in that span. For the season, he has a 5.09 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and 17:16 K:BB through 23 innings across six starts. He's lined up for a road start in San Diego next week.

Gray didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 win over the Marlins, giving up four runs on five hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out four.

All four runs off the right-hander crossed the plate in the second inning, with a two-run home run by Lewin Diaz being the big blast. Gray otherwise held Miami in check though, and he got taken off the hook for his 10th loss when the Nationals rallied in the seventh inning. His main issues remain, however -- Gray has served up at least one homer in 13 straight starts and walked multiple batters in 10 of them, a combination that has left him with a 6.32 ERA and 1.51 WHIP over that stretch despite a 10.0 K/9.

Luzardo didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Nationals, giving up two runs on five hits and a walk over six-plus innings. He struck out six.

The southpaw tossed only 58 of 97 pitches for strikes but mostly stayed out of danger as he carried a shutout into the seventh inning. The wheels fell off at that point though, as Joey Meneses led off the frame with an inside-the-park home run that kick-started a Nats rally and helped chase Luzardo from the game. The quality start was his sixth in his last eight outings, a stretch in which Luzardo has a 3.59 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 45:15 K:BB through 47.2 innings.
