Pepiot will serve as the Dodgers' 29th man in Tuesday's doubleheader against the Diamondbacks.

It was reported Monday night that Pepiot would be called up Tuesday, and the Dodgers ultimately made the move official. He will not start the first game of the twin bill, but according to Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com, manager Dave Roberts is hoping Pepiot and starter Michael Grove "will be able to cover the first game." As such, expect Pepiot to follow Grove into the game and work several innings.

Priester was promoted from Double-A Altoona to Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

An oblique injury limited Priester to 81 innings this year, primarily at Double-A, so he will head to Triple-A to continue adding innings to his 2022 ledger. Priester is also set to pitch in the Arizona Fall League, so he could exceed 100 innings before the end of the AFL. The 22-year-old righty had a 2.87 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 75 strikeouts in 75.1 innings at Double-A. Priester should spend much of 2023 at Triple-A.

Wright (19-5) allowed two runs on eight hits and one walk over six innings to earn the win over the Nationals on Monday. He struck out seven.

Wright has been one of the biggest surprises of the season, and he made his layup at home against the Nats to continue his breakout campaign. No other pitcher in baseball has more than 17 wins, so Wright has a real shot to be the first and only pitcher to reach 20 wins in 2022. The right-hander has had a couple hiccups in the second half where you wouldn't expect them, but regardless he's 8-1 with a 3.60 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 10 starts since the All-Star break.

Burnes (10-8) gave up five runs on seven hits and one walk over 5.2 innings to take the loss to the Mets on Monday. He struck out four.

Pete Alonso cracked a three-run homer in the fourth inning and the Mets would add two more runs on three additional extra-base hits in the sixth (triple, triple, double). Burnes has not been his typical dominant self lately -- he has a 5.75 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and seven homers allowed in his last 36 innings. Last year's NL Cy Young winner is now up to 184.2 innings this season, 17.2 more than last year already, but the Brewers are just 2.5 games out of a wild-card spot, so it seems unlikely Burnes will face an early shutdown.

Gore (elbow) struck out two and worked around four hits and two walks to cover 2.2 scoreless innings in his most recent rehab start Friday for Triple-A Rochester.

Gore tossed 57 pitches (32 strikes) in his second rehab outing for Rochester after a two-and-a-half-month shutdown due to his left elbow injury. Per MLB.com, Gore has rejoined the Nationals and is scheduled throw a bullpen session Tuesday in Atlanta, but he'll require at least one more rehab start at Triple-A later this week prior to being activated from the 15-day injured list. Assuming he's free of any setbacks following his upcoming rehab outing, Gore could make one or two starts for the big club before the regular season ends Oct. 5.

X-rays taken on Nelson's forearm following Sunday's loss to the Padres came back negative, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports. "It's just a bruise, we dodged a bullet," Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said of Nelson's injury.

Nelson took a comebacker off the forearm of his pitching arm and was removed midway through the sixth inning after tossing a warmup pitch. He said he felt good and wanted to stay in the game, but Lovullo exercised caution and removed the young hurler. Nelson lines up to pitch Friday against the Giants, assuming he experiences no issues with his forearm during his between-starts bullpen session.

Kelly (12-7) took the loss against the Dodgers on Monday, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over six innings.

Kelly managed to finish six frames for the sixth time in his past seven starts but couldn't end his woes against Los Angeles. The right-hander gave up a solo homer to Joey Gallo in the second inning and a three-run shot to Chris Taylor in the fourth to account for most of the damage against him. Kelly has a solid 3.15 ERA on the season, but against the Dodgers he's 0-5 with a 9.00 ERA over 22 innings across five starts.

Kershaw (9-3) earned the win over Arizona on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out 10 batters over six innings.

Kershaw dominated Diamondbacks hitters in the victory, racking up 19 swinging strikes and finishing with double-digit punchouts for the third time this season. The veteran southpaw notched his third straight quality start and gave up only one extra-base hit while limiting Arizona to a fifth-inning run. Kershaw has been outstanding since returning from a stint on the injured list Sept. 1, posting a 1.50 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 29:4 K:BB over 24 innings spanning four starts.

Cabrera (6-3) yielded three runs on three hits and three walks over five innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win against the Cubs.

Cabrera coughed up a pair of runs in the third inning, including Christopher Morel's solo homer, before allowing one more run in the fifth. Since turning in four straight scoreless starts, the 6-foot-5 righty has registered a 5.74 ERA over his last five outings. He's now sporting a 2.91 ERA with a 67:33 K:BB through 65 frames. Cabrera is lined up to face the Nationals at home this weekend.

Miley (1-1) allowed seven runs (three earned) on seven hits across three innings to take the loss Monday against the Marlins. He walked two and struck out two.

The silver lining is that four of the runs he allowed were unearned, but Miley still struggled in this one, allowing two home runs across his three innings of work. This was just the seventh start of the season for the veteran, who missed time with elbow and shoulder injuries. Miley is in line to start again Sunday against the Pirates. The lefty is likely to make one more appearance this year after that, then turn his attention toward what he hopes is better health in 2023.
