Megill will start for the Mets instead of Kodai Senga on Tuesday against the Cubs, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

This will allow Senga to get a bit of extra rest and skip the Mets' upcoming weekend series at Coors Field. Senga will handle Wednesday's game at Wrigley Field and then next Tuesday's series opener at home against the division-rival Phillies.

Teheran signed a one-year contract Tuesday with the Brewers, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Teheran was able to score a guaranteed major-league deal after opting out of his minor-league contract with the Padres on Monday. He had an underwhelming 5.63 ERA and 1.68 WHIP through eight starts this season at Triple-A El Paso, but the Brewers are desperate for healthy arms capable of eating innings and the 32-year-old right-hander might get an immediate opportunity to work out of Milwaukee's rotation.

Williamson did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing four runs on four hits and four walks over 4.1 innings during a 6-5 win over St. Louis in 10 innings. He struck out three.

Williamson was spotted an early 2-0 lead, but that was squandered after he allowed a go-ahead three-run homer to Paul DeJong. The Reds answered back with a two-run blast of their own, and that score held until Williamson surrendered a game-tying RBI double to Lars Nootbaar in the fifth. The young pitcher didn't look as sharp as he did during his MLB debut last week, but he figures to remain in the rotation for a while, as Nick Lodolo is expected to miss extended time while dealing with a stress reaction in his left tibia.

Montgomery did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks over four frames during a 6-5 loss to Cincinnati in 10 innings. He struck out four.

Montgomery allowed two runs in the first on RBI knocks from Matt McLain and Tyler Stephenson, and after St. Louis took the lead on a three-run homer by Paul DeJong, the left-hander served up a go-ahead two-run homer to Spencer Steer in the third. After allowing just one run over his final two starts of April (12.2 innings), Montgomery has given up multiple runs in each of his first four May outings. During that stretch, he's posted a 6.64 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP with a 20:8 K:BB across 20.1 innings.

Ortiz (1-2) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over 7.2 innings during a 6-4 victory over the Rangers. He struck out four.

Ortiz has drawn three straight starts with Vince Velasquez (elbow) on the injured list, but Monday's outing was by far the former's best performance of the season. The young right-hander completed a career-high 7.2 innings, struck out a season-high four batters and submitted his first quality start of the year. Velasquez may need at least one more rehab start before he's recalled to the big-league roster, making it likely Ortiz gets one more shot in the rotation.

Burnes dropped to 4-4 in Monday's 12-2 loss to Houston after allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five batters over five innings.

Burnes gave up a career-worst four home runs in the outing, so his final stat line could have been much worse. The Astros tagged him for a pair of solo shots -- all of which traveled over 400 feet -- in each of the second and fifth frames, and he gave up another run on a groundout in the fourth. Burnes had a streak of four straight quality starts snapped in the loss, and his season ERA jumped to 3.97. While that number isn't disastrous, it's a significant drop-off after the right-hander posted an ERA of 2.94 or better each of his previous three seasons.

Morton (5-4) allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings Monday, striking out five and taking a loss against the Dodgers.

Morton allowed multiple home runs for the first time this season, with most of the damage coming on Freddie Freeman's three-run blast in the fifth inning. Morton coughed up a season-high six runs and saw his ERA climb to 3.61 through 52.1 frames. However, he's allowed two or fewer runs in four of his last six starts. Morton is lined up to face the Phillies at home this weekend.

Cabrera (3-4) allowed three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings, but he took the loss Monday versus the Rockies.

Cabrera's last start was cut short by a blister on his right middle finger, but he was able to work past it over the last few days to start on schedule. He pitched fairly well Monday, throwing 51 of 89 pitches for strikes, but it was a sixth-inning solo shot by Elias Diaz that sent Cabrera to his first loss in three starts. The right-hander has completed six frames just twice in his 10 outings this season, posting a 5.05 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 61:31 K:BB over 46.1 innings. That walk rate will continue to put a damper on his other numbers, but he's yet to have a truly disastrous start this year. He's lined up for a road start versus the Angels over the weekend.

Stone yielded five runs on five hits and five walks over four-plus innings in Monday's win over Atlanta. He struck out one and did not factor in the decision.

Atlanta jumped on Stone early, plating four runs in the first inning. He tossed a few scoreless frames before walking two batters to begin the fifth inning. Stone was charged with one more run after leaving the game. The right-handed rookie has given up nine runs with an ugly 2:7 K:BB through his first two career MLB starts. It's unclear if he'll get another turn in the rotation.

Anderson allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Marlins on Monday.

Anderson wasn't as dominant as he was in his Rockies debut last week, but he turned in a serviceable start. The Marlins tagged him for a run in each of the third and fourth innings, but the Rockies pulled ahead for good in the sixth. The veteran right-hander now has a 1.15 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 6:4 K:BB over 15.2 innings between the Rockies and the Rays. With the Rockies' rotation still awaiting the returns of several injured pitchers, there's a good chance Anderson will get another start, which lines up to be a home date against the Mets this weekend.
