Jose Quintana SP | COL
White Sox SP Jose Quintana receives unlucky no-decision
White Sox starter Jose Quintana was saddled with a no-decision Thursday despite an impressive performance against the Athletics in which he surrendered only four hits and one earned run in seven innings. He struck out six.
Quintana has yielded two earned runs over his last 20 innings and is now sporting a season-low 3.45 ERA. The young southpaw did not give up a homer for the third consecutive start and has built considerably strong momentum for 2016.
The southpaw has been a beacon of hope for the White Sox in an otherwise forgettable season, and has a chance to achieve career highs in wins and innings pitched over his two remaining starts.

Corey Kluber SP | BOS
Indians SP Corey Kluber will start Thursday against Royals
Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber (hamstring) has been confirmed as the starting pitcher for Thursday's game against the Royals, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
Kluber has not started since Aug. 29 due to a hamstring injury, but he will get back on the mound Thursday night. He is 1-3 with a 4.34 ERA and 27:6 K:BB ratio in 29 innings over four starts against the Royals this season.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Astros SP Dallas Keuchel has rough outing in loss to Rangers
Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel (17-8) was bombarded Wednesday, giving up nine runs on 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings against the Rangers. He struck out five without walking anyone, but allowed three homers.
The Astros have coughed up first place to Texas, and they turned to Keuchel to stop the bleeding in this game, but instead they got blown out in what was by far the lefty's worst start of the season. This has to be a tough blow for Keuchel's Fantasy owners after he got them this far with what's been a magnificent season.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Rangers SP Martin Perez works around nine hits for win
Rangers starting pitcher Martin Perez (3-5) navigated through seven innings against the Astros on Wednesday, working around nine hits and a walk to allow just one run. He struck out three in the blowout win.
Perez continues to miss bats at an abysmally low rate, but once in a while, he turns out surprisingly effective outings like this. And this was a big one against the Astros, whom the Rangers now lead by 1 1/2 games in the AL West. Perhaps the extra rest did Perez good, as he went a week between starts.

Luis Severino SP | ATH
Yankees SP Luis Severino bounces back from rough outing
Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (4-3) held the Rays to one run on six hits and a walk in 5 2/3 innings Wednesday. He struck out seven in a 3-1 win.
The rookie's most recent start -- a six-run disaster against the Blue Jays -- represented his first step back of the year, but he recovered in impressive fashion, displaying stronger control than we'd seen from him over his last several outings. Severino had issued at least three walks in five consecutive starts, and though he'd mostly navigated around those extra baserunners, that luck only holds for so long.
With a strikeout per inning and results that have been pretty consistent, the 21-year-old is showing a ton of promise for the future, and he can help Fantasy teams right now as well.

Jake Odorizzi SP | TB
Rays pitcher Jake Odorizzi allows three runs Tuesday
Rays pitcher Jake Odorizzi gave up three runs on three hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings Tuesday against the Yankees.
The 25-year-old righty has a 3.26 ERA and 1.12 WHIP and has solidified himself as a legitimate middle-of-the-rotation arm this season.
He will take the mound again Sunday at home against the Orioles, against whom he is 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA in 12 2/3 innings this season.

Mariners shuffle rotation, move SP Roenis Elias to bullpen
Mariners pitcher Roenis Elias will shift to the bullpen for the next day or so and is expected to return to the rotation next Tuesday in Kansas City, The Tacoma News Tribune's Bob Dutton reports.
James Paxton will be moved up to pitch Friday with Vidal Nuno taking the ball Saturday. Elias has a 3.42 ERA in 23.2 innings in the second half.

Felix Hernandez SP | BAL
Mariners SP Taijuan Walker to miss next start; Hernandez starts Sunday
Mariners SP Taijuan Walker will have his next start skipped, the Seattle Times' Ryan Divish reports.
He's at 169 2/3 innings on the season, and while he won't pitch in Texas this weekend, he could return to the mix next weekend in Anaheim. Felix Hernandez was moved up to pitch Sunday's game against Texas.
