Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Yankees' Nathan Eovaldi: Side session pushed back
Eovaldi's scheduled bullpen session will be pushed back from Tuesday to Wednesday due to tightness in his groin, Wallace Matthews of ESPN New York reports.
The one day delay indicates Eovaldi's setback is not considered serious, but the Yankees don't figure to take any chances with a pitcher who is on track to open the season in their starting rotation.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Good intrasquad appearance
Bundy (shoulder) threw a 1-2-3 inning and struck out Matt Wieters and Chris Davis in an intrasquad game Sunday, MASN Sports reports.
Bundy is game ready as spring training games are set to begin. He should make it into a game Wednesday or Thursday. This will be an important month for Bundy, as the Orioles attempt to determine if he is healthy and durable enough to begin the season with the team, and as the club formulates what kind of a workload he can handle during the season.

Chris Bassitt SP | BAL
Athletics' Chris Bassitt: Appears to have an inside track to A's rotation.
Bassitt appears to be a favorite to start the year in the A's rotation, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Bassitt will likely have to earn his spot in the spring, but his 86 innings of 3.56 ERA for the A's in 2015 seems to have him as a favorite for the role. Bassitt was a victim of poor run support last year, earning only one win in 13 starts despite his solid ratios. Bassitt did not show a strong strikeout rate with only 6.7 K/9 in 2015, but managed to allow less than a hit per inning to help manage his ratios. He did have a strong strikeout rate in the minors (8.7 K/9), so a strikeout bump could be coming as he settles into a role in the majors.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
White Sox's Jose Quintana: Projects as team's second starter
Quintana currently projects as the White Sox's No. 2 starter, the team's official site reports.
Manager Robin Ventura has yet to officially announce the order of his rotation, but the spring training scheduling suggests Quintana will follow Chris Sale. Quintana has served as a steady hand in the middle of the White Sox's rotation the past few seasons, consistently starting at least 30 games, throwing 200 innings, and posting ERA's in the mid-3.00's. That streak should continue into 2016.

Chris Sale SP | ATL
White Sox's Chris Sale: Projects as Opening Day starter
Sale currently projects as the White Sox's Opening Day starter, the team's official site reports.
Manager Robin Ventura has yet to officially announce the order of his rotation, but the spring training scheduling suggests Sale will take the mound on Opening Day against the A's. Sale's place atop the team's rotation should come as no surprise, as he has been one of the top starters in the league in recent years.

Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez: Shut down for three days after knee injury
Rodriguez has a subluxation of the patella tendon in his right knee and will be evaluated after a 72-hour period of no throwing, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
Rodriguez had to be helped off the field by trainers Saturday, but reported that he was pain-free soon after. The Red Sox aren't taking any chances with their young starter, so we'll see what the prognosis is in three days.

Taijuan Walker SP | LAA
Mariners' Taijuan Walker: Not facing innings limit
Walker will not face an innings limit this season, MLB.com reports.
The team will continue to be mindful of the 23-year-old's workload, but after a 2015 season in which he threw 169.2 frames, Walker appears poised to break 200 this year. Predictably, there were growing pains in his first full season as a major league starter, and he needs to correct the home run issues, but the peripherals suggest Walker is in line for better results in 2016.

Chris Sale SP | ATL
White Sox's Chris Sale: Will not pitch in Cactus League game until late March
Sale won't pitch in a Cactus League game until March 19, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
Sale broke a bone in his right foot last February that caused him to miss approximately three weeks, so the White Sox have decided to limit his exposure to injury by delaying his starts until late March. Chicago's ace will continue to put in work every day, and the coaching staff believes he will have ample time to prepare for Opening Day.
