Kluber (2-2) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out 10 in eight scoreless innings to earn the win against the Tigers on Sunday.

Kluber had his best outing of the season Sunday and struck out a season-high 10 batters en route to the 100th win of his career. The right-hander got off to a lackluster start this year but has allowed just one run in 14.2 innings in his last two appearances. Kluber tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Nationals on Saturday.

Berrios (3-2) earned the win Sunday over the Royals after giving up four runs on six hits and a walk while fanning nine across six innings.

Berrios was unable to deliver a quality start -- something he has accomplished just once thus far -- and tied a season-worst mark in terms of runs allowed, though he also completed six innings for just the second time in six outings. The 26-year-old right-hander owns a 3.58 ERA across 32.2 innings and is slated to take the ball next week on the road against the Tigers.

Keller (2-3) was tagged with the loss Sunday against the Twins after giving up seven runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk while fanning three across 4.1 innings.

Keller began his outing by hitting Luis Arraez, and while he looked composed through the first two innings, the wheels came off in the third, when he gave up seven runs and was never able to recover. The right-hander has struggled due to a lack of consistency thus far and has given up at least four runs in four of his last six appearances. That translates to an 8.06 ERA across 22.1 innings. Keller will try to bounce back in his next start, scheduled for next week at home against the White Sox.

Stripling allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over 4.1 innings during Sunday's start against Atlanta. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.

Making his first start since April 8 due to forearm tightness, Stripling threw 70 pitches over his 4.1 innings of work. He allowed runs in the second and fifth innings in the overall successful outing. The 6-foot-3 righty lowered his season ERA to 6.39 with a 14:4 K:BB through 12.2 innings. Stripling is slated to take the mound in Houston next weekend.

Urena (1-4) allowed only two runs across seven innings but took the loss Sunday against the Yankees. He gave up three hits and a walk while striking out seven.

Urena pitched well and was one off his season high in strikeouts, but New York starter Corey Kluber was even better, blanking the Tigers across eight innings. Urena has gone exactly seven innings in four straight starts and has allowed a total of just seven earned runs during the stretch, but he has only a 1-2 record to show for it as the Detroit offense has done very little to help the starting pitchers. Urena will look for a little more run support in his next start, tentatively scheduled for Friday against the Twins.

Javier allowed three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings in Sunday's loss to the Rays. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.

Javier kept the Rays scoreless through four innings until serving up a three-run shot to Austin Meadows in the fifth. Houston took the lead in the top of the sixth so the 24-year-old was in line for a win before Tampa Bay came back against the bullpen. Javier still owns a terrific 1.75 ERA and 30:8 K:BB through 25.2 innings. He's lined up to face the Blue Jays at home next weekend.

Wacha yielded four runs on five hits over 2.2 innings while striking out three during Sunday's win over Houston. He did not factor in the decision.

Wacha took the mound in the fourth inning and quickly gave up a solo shot to Yordan Alvarez after Rich Hill tossed three scoreless frames to start the afternoon. He then allowed two runs in the fifth and was charged with another run in the sixth after he was lifted from the game. The 29-year-old righty saw his season ERA jump to 4.76 through 28.1 innings.

Hill allowed one hit and a walk over three scoreless innings during Sunday's win over Houston. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.

Hill was expected to have a short outing Sunday, and he made the most of it. He issued a walk in the first inning and allowed a hit in the second but no Astro made it into scoring position. The veteran lefty lowered his season ERA to 6.39 across 25.1 innings. Hill is expected to take the mound in Oakland next weekend.

Lynch will be called up to start Monday's game against Cleveland, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.

The Royals announced earlier in the week that Lynch would begin the season at Triple-A Omaha, but the southpaw will instead make his major-league debut Monday. Lynch hasn't pitched above High-A but posted a 3.10 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 77:23 K:BB in 78.1 innings across 15 starts with High-A Wilmington in 2019.

Giolito (1-3) took the loss Sunday versus Cleveland. He allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out eight in 5.1 innings.

Giolito allowed a solo home run to Cesar Hernandez in the third inning. In the fourth, Cleveland tallied another run on a Yoan Moncada fielding error. With no run production from the White Sox offense Sunday, Giolito was stuck with his third straight loss. The right-hander has a 4.99 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB across 30.2 innings this season. He projects for a start in next weekend's series versus Kansas City.
