Luzardo (2-3) earned a relief win in Tuesday's 12-6 victory over Seattle, allowing no runs on two hits and a walk with six strikeouts in two innings.

In only his second appearance since returning from the IL, Luzardo held Seattle in check and fell in line for the win after Oakland scored six runs in the top of the seventh. With a few more games like Tuesday's, it'll be difficult for manager Bob Melvin to keep Luzardo out of the rotation for much longer.

Cease (3-2) took the loss Tuesday at Cleveland after surrendering six runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and one walk over 3.1 innings.

The 25-year-old needed 94 pitches to record 10 outs, though he did generate 11 swing-and-misses. Cease has a 3.79 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 68:27 K:BB across 55 innings (11 starts) in 2021.

Bieber (6-3) earned the win Tuesday against the White Sox after allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits with seven strikeouts and two walks across seven innings.

Chicago scored all three runs in the third inning, when Billy Hamilton hit a two-run double and ultimately came around to score thanks to a pair of errors. Otherwise, it was another strong performance from Bieber, who now has a 3.08 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 117:29 K:BB over 79 innings this season.

Ray (3-2) allowed one earned run on six hits and two walks while striking out nine across six innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Marlins.

Ray ripped through the Marlins' lineup, generating 22 swinging strikes on 96 total pitches to back up his nine strikeouts. The only damage against him came in the fifth inning, when Starling Marte delivered an RBI double. For the season, Ray has a 3.57 ERA with 69 strikeouts across 58 innings and 10 starts.

Singer (3-4) picked up the win Tuesday after holding the Pirates to five runs (four earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out six over 5.2 innings.

Coming off a tough loss, Singer turned things around Tuesday and finally got enough run support from his teammates to finish off the much-needed victory. Stronger command definitely played a factor as it was just the third time in 11 starts this season that Singer did not issue multiple free passes. Per usual, the 24-year-old managed to keep the ball in the yard and has only surrendered four homers this year. Overall, Singer has tallied a 5.06 ERA and 1.41 WHIP across 53.1 innings. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Twins on Sunday.

Glasnow allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight across seven innings Tuesday against the Yankees. He did not factor into the decision.

Glasnow battled wildness in the third inning, as he walked two and threw a wild pitch to force in two runs. However, he otherwise turned in another strong outing, generating 15 swinging strikes on 100 total pitches. Through 12 starts, Glasnow has completed seven or more innings on five occasions while striking out eight or more in nine outings. Overall, he has a 2.69 ERA with 106 strikeouts across 77 frames.

Boyd allowed five runs across 4.2 innings and did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's game against the Brewers. He gave up five hits and three walks while striking out four.

The three walks were problematic but Boyd was really done in by three home runs, which has been an issue during the lefty's career. In his last full season back in 2019, Boyd allowed 39 home runs in 185.1 innings, which was the second highest total in the American League. He then gave up another 15 long balls in just 60.1 innings last year. Boyd has only been tagged six times in 62.1 innings so far in 2021, but four of those have come in his last two appearances. He'll look to keep the ball in the park in his next outing, which is scheduled for next Tuesday against the Mariners.

German allowed three earned runs on three hits and no walks while striking out five across five innings Tuesday against the Rays. He did not factor into the decision.

German allowed only three baserunners in the start, but each of them came around to score thanks to two home runs. Long balls have been a consistent problem for German this season, as he's allowed multiple shots in five of his 10 starts and is surrendering 1.8 HR/9. Even so, he's maintained a solid 3.27 ERA with a very strong 52:10 K:BB across 55 innings on the campaign.

Kopech is dealing with a Grade 1 strain to his left hamstring, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

While general manager Rick Hahn doesn't believe the injury will sideline Kopech for an extended time, he's not sure the righty will be ready for activation when eligible June 8. The coveted prospect has excelled as both a reliever and a spot starter in 2021, posting a 1.72 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 31.1 innings.

Houck (elbow) threw off a mound Tuesday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Houck has been dealing with a sore flexor muscle since early May, and Tuesday's throwing session marked the first time that he had thrown off a mound since he suffered the injury. The right-hander only threw fastballs during his bullpen session, but it was encouraging to see him make some progress in his recovery.
