Montas (6-5) notched the win against Colorado on Friday, pitching five innings and allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out two.

The right-hander was staked to an early 6-0 lead and pitched just long enough to secure his sixth win. Montas yielded a trio of runs between the third and fourth innings and threw 48 of 69 pitches for strikes on the night. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for Montas, though his two strikeouts Friday were a season low. He'll carry a 4.52 ERA into his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come at home against Kansas City on Thursday.

Ryu (5-3) allowed seven runs (six earned) on seven hits and three walks with one strikeout in 5.2 innings. He took the loss Friday versus Houston.

The game was scoreless through three innings before Houston's offense found a groove. Ryu limited the damage to three runs in five innings, but a Martin Maldonado grand slam in the sixth was enough to end the southpaw's night. The 34-year-old has a 3.23 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 59:11 K:BB across 64 innings. He'll look to bounce back next week versus the White Sox.

Greinke (6-2) tossed a complete game Friday, allowing one run on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts to earn the win over Toronto.

The only blemish on Greinke's line with a seventh-inning solo home run from Randal Grichuk. The right-hander has logged eight or more innings in three of his last four starts. He's pitched to a 3.38 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 60:16 K:BB across 82.2 innings overall. Greinke lines up for a tough matchup in Boston next week.

Eovaldi (7-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on eight hits and no walks while striking out seven in six innings to earn the win against the Yankees on Friday.

Eovaldi has now picked up wins in each of his last three outings, and he helped lead the Red Sox to an elusive win at Yankee Stadium on Friday. He allowed plenty of baserunners in Friday's matchup, but he was able to hold the Yankees in check on the scoreboard. Across his last three starts, the right-hander has allowed four runs (three earned) on 17 hits and three walks while striking out 18 in 16.2 innings. He tentatively lines up to make his next start at home against the Astros on Wednesday.

Turnbull's forearm injury may be simply a muscle strain and not structural, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
