Perez (4-4) allowed five runs on six hits and one walk while failing to record a strikeout in 1.1 innings to take the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Toronto's bats were hot throughout Sunday's matchup, and Perez struggled early in the contest by giving up home runs in each of the first two innings. The southpaw has now given up 11 runs in 3.1 innings across his last two starts, and he's been charged with losses in each of those appearances. He'll attempt to bounce back in his next start and tentatively lines up to take the mound on the road against Kansas City on Saturday.

Ray (4-3) allowed three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out 10 in six innings to earn the win against the Red Sox on Sunday.

Ray has now struck out at least nine batters in each of his last three starts, and he's picked up two wins during that time. He allowed a solo home run in the second inning before giving up a two-run double in the fifth, but he got plenty of run support from Toronto's offense in the 18-4 win. The southpaw tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Baltimore on Friday.

Bubic (1-2) allowed five earned runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five across 4.2 innings, taking the loss to the Athletics on Sunday.

Bubic surrendered three solo home runs, one by Matt Chapman in the first inning and two off the bat of Matt Olson. The 23-year-old has struggled mightily of late, allowing 14 runs in his last 12 innings over three starts. His ERA has jumped to 4.01 and his WHIP is 1.43. He will look to turn the tide in his next start, tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Red Sox.

Bassitt (7-2) allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five across 5.2 innings, earning the win Sunday over the Royals.

Bassitt surrendered a solo home run by Andrew Benintendi in the third inning. He only gave up one other extra-base hit in the form of a double from Salvador Perez that came right after the home run. The 32-year-old lost his first two starts of the season, but he has been stellar since with a 3.43 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP with 91 strikeouts in 86.2 innings this year. He is 4-0 in his last five starts.

German (4-4) allowed seven runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two in 4.1 innings to take the loss against the Phillies on Sunday.

German allowed baserunners in four of the first five innings Sunday and posted his worst results of the season in the loss. The righty has now recorded a 3.88 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in 65 innings across his first 12 starts of the year. He tentatively lines up to make his next appearance at home against the Athletics on Saturday.

The Yankees promoted Medina from High-A Hudson Valley to Double-A Somerset on Sunday, Josh Norris of Baseball America reports.

Medina was one of three Hudson Valley rotation members to receive a call-up to the next rung of the minors, with Ken Waldichuk and Hayden Wesneski also joining him. The 22-year-old Medina is the youngest of the trio and likely rates as the best pitching prospect, thanks to a fastball that routinely hits triple digits to go with an excellent curveball and a plus changeup. He blew away the competition at High-A through his first seven starts, posting a 2.76 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and a 50:19 K:BB in 32.2 innings.

Quantrill is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

A lighter schedule of games last week allowed Cleveland to move Quantrill to the bullpen following his June 6 start -- which also came against Baltimore -- but he'll be needed in the rotation again while the Tribe is in the midst of a stretch of 12 games in 12 days. Given that Quantrill hasn't tossed more than 60 pitches in any of his 20 appearances with the big club this season, fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to work more than four or five innings Tuesday.

Wacha allowed a run on two hits and a walk in two innings in a 7-1 win over Baltimore on Sunday. He did not factor in the decision.

The 29-year-old gave up an RBI single to Pat Valaika in the second inning. Wacha then turned the ball over to Josh Fleming, who pitched four scoreless innings. Working as an opener essentially nullifies Wacha's chances of getting a win, although he's also seen time as a bulk reliever. The right-hander has a 4.54 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 30:11 K:BB across 39.2 innings.

Luzardo allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk over 1.2 innings in a win over the Royals on Saturday. He struck out one.

Luzardo ended up affording the Royals their only two runs of the game when Kelvin Gutierrez tagged him for a 378-foot shot in the eighth with Carlos Santana aboard. After firing four scoreless frames across his first two appearances since returning from the injured list as a reliever, the young southpaw has given up seven earned runs on four home runs over the 4.2 innings covering his last three trips to the mound.

Odorizzi will work behind Lance McCullers (shoulder) in a tandem start Tuesday against the Rangers, but Odorizzi is expected to be part of a six-man rotation thereafter, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chroniclereports.

Since McCullers won't be fully stretched out Tuesday in his return from the 10-day injured list, the Astros will call on Odorizzi to provide length out of the bullpen Tuesday. After that, Houston is planning to utilize a six-man rotation, which leaves Odorizzi in line to make his next start June 21 in Baltimore. Odorozzi has had a rough go of things in his first season in Houston, posting a 6.75 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 23:8 K:BB through his six outings spanning 21.1 innings.
